Located right on Lake Kawaguchi, walking distance from 7-Eleven, bus stops and a few izakaya's. You can rent bicycles from a hotel down the road or hire electric bikes close by also. My room was quite large, comfortable bed and very good aircon. Very quiet area although there were few guests during my stay. All toiletries, towels etc. were available in the communal area and the men's toilet and shower were very clean (my room had a shared bathroom). For the price and location to the lake it was ideal, I'd recommend for 2-3 nights 👍

Buses to the accommodation are infrequent, getting there from Kawaguchiko station was a hassle at first (it's on the green bus line). No check in process really, I was lucky someone was there cleaning to let me in. The place is a little run down and random 😄 although it was the cheapest in the area so can't complain. The information booklet mentioned a cafe and bakery but I don't think it's still open? More info on the local area, how to hire bikes and get around would have been also appreciated.

Great staff. We were late and they provided immediate responses via messenger. They stayed back to ensure we could check in. There was enough English spoken for elective communication. The space was tidy and clean. As a family of 5 with three teenagers, there was ample room as we only really used the space for sleeping. The shared facilities were clean and during winter we had it to ourselves. The space was also warm and offered a communal area to take in the lake views.

During the day we could hear footsteps, but during the night we did not notice.

One shower & toilet for quite a few rooms not really adequate.
