The hotel is in very good location, The bed was very new and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice as it was renovated. My room was one floor up from the ground floor ( 1st Floor) the carpets in the hallways are very badly worn and torn. The carpet in my room looked awful. I did not feel comfortable walking in the room with bare feet or socks on as the carpet is so worn out and old. All trim-work on the floors and doorways in very poor condition can could look so much better with a little bit of paint

The location was so good being able to just walk through the tunnel to the old district was great. The bed was comfortable the roadworks that were happening outside distracted quite a bit from a peaceful stay but again the location helped us have a great experience of Salzburg without having to invest in taxis or other transport

Very, very dated property. This should be mentioned in the description. It seems like a 80s hotel that has not been updated a wink. The carpet in the rooms seemed like out of The Overlook Hotel from The Shining, that old. Scratched and old furniture. Extremely dated bathrooms. Unfriendly and cold staff. We were a group of five and had three rooms, each one more ancient than the next. Otherwise, good beds and duvets. Great location and nice vicinity.

the room needs cleaning more . no regular cleaning done and supplies toilet paper towels not supplied regularly . the hotel location is excellent to the places planned to visit . the front reception male staff (indian ) was not helpful at all . he forgot to reserve our taxi when we left . we waited for one hour the taxi did not show up . called uber immediately to take us to the airport .

While the staff was friendly and helpful, there are a number of issues to be highlighted: the phone in the room was not working - so had to go to the reception for every request. The toilet was of a design I had never seen in my life. Worst, there was no coffee machine in the room. So when we grabbed a coffee from the kitchen, we charged 2.70 Euros each, which was reversed after we argued about it. Which hotel nowadays does not have a coffee machine in the room??

The hotel is located in a walkable area and was overall clean. However, the staff were not friendly or helpful, the room does not have any air system aside from a noisy stand up fan in the corner, and the walls are paper thin. The rooms are also very outdated and the beds are old and uncomfortable. If you stay here, don't expect to be able to ask for anything extra such as a pillow, as they will tell you no. Would recommend spending your money elsewhere as this hotel is not even cheap.

There is no air condition in the hotel. when you check out they want you to pay city tax which i have never encountered. The girls in the reception were not polite. We did not enjoy there.

Hotel was ok, no AC very warm in the room. Opening the windows on street side was loud and bright lights made it hard to sleep. Was offered breakfast - thought it was included untill check out. My own fault for not asking. Overall, ok.

Check-in wasn't great. We were visiting from outside the country. The guy at the reception during check-in seemed rude and absolutely not helpful. The lady at the checkout seemed good and charming. Parking is very limited, only 8 spaces for the whole hotel. Breakfast was okay but few more options would have been great. Also they doesn't seem to have a ramp for easy transfer of suitcases to/from the car. Rooms seemed cramped but not sure if that's the norm in Salzburg

One of the primary reasons we chose this accommodation was the listing’s indication that a laundry facility was available on-site. However, upon arrival, we were informed by the front desk that no such facility exists, and the nearest coin laundry is two bus stops away. This was both inconvenient and frustrating, as access to laundry was an important factor in our booking decision. In addition, we were not made aware of the extensive construction taking place around the property. The noise from the work, which began as early as 7:00 a.m., significantly impacted our ability to rest during our stay. We also encountered maintenance issues within the room itself. The showerhead attachment in the bathroom was broken, and the sink appeared to be clogged, taking a long time to drain properly. I believe these matters should have been clearly communicated in the listing. When we raised the laundry issue with the receptionist, we were told that the property’s own website does not list such a facility—suggesting a discrepancy between the Expedia listing and the property’s actual amenities. I hope that steps can be taken to ensure that the information presented to potential guests is accurate and up-to-date. Accurate listings are essential in helping travelers make informed choices.

The place is more hostel than hotel. There are few to no amenities: no fridge, no laundry services, no ice machines, and we couldnt get an extra fan when we asked. Cleaning services were poor. They left the sheet and floor uncleaned. The place itself is more gloss than content. The day staff were nice enough, but the night "manager" was as lazy as he was useless (think: Basil Fawlty without the humour). When asked we got either incorrect or inaccurate information The breakfast (food, price, and staff) were quite good. Its basically Fawlty Towers without the irony or comedic talent.

Great location as on a number of bus routes in and out of the city and one directly to the airport. The foyer was refurbished and looked nice, but the rest of the hotel was a little tired. But it did the job and was not an unpleasant space to be in. I would stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided suggestions and an area map for getting around. Since we were paying for 24 hours of parking, we checked out by 11am but got to stay parked for the full 24 hours while we toured the city some more. That was very helpful. We did find a space in their tiny parking lot. The room was small but adequate.

Check in was easy, room was clean and big. I was able to borrow an iron. You have to put in 10 Euros deposit for parking, but get it back when check-in out. Only "issue" was the cleaning lady knocked on our door before check out time (she didn't speak English), after the second time I put the don't disturb sign and she knocked again... Not sure what the issue was. Our room was right at the street. In the summer you have to have a window open and it's pretty noisy. Check out was easy. Overall great for the price and closeness to the city center.

Having travelled for the last 2 months I can honestly say we have never experienced such disinterested and unhelpful reception staff. While not rude they just had no people skills at all and clearly did not enjoy their job. The hotel itself is in a perfect location to see the old town and while dated and in need of a new bed it suited our needs. Just would just have been nice to be greeted with a smile and maybe even a reply to our greetings when we returned in the evenings.
