Best of traditional and modern in perfect location

Fabulous location right in the heart of Salzburg old town and literally a step from the airport bus stop. Very attractive hotel which is both traditional (wooden paneled dining room) and modern (with lots of interesting pieces of art dotted around the hotel). Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Bedroom was fresh, spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom and a small area where we could sit at the end of the day. We enjoyed the bar too.

It was all beautiful, but if I was being picky I'd ask for darker curtains as the light from the street was a little bright in the room.

Perfect location. Close to shops. Staff were extremely helpful.

The day we arrived I was hoping for valet, travelling with 4 adults and a 2 year old. Anyway we got a park at the front and had to take the car to the carpark. It was no big deal. Everything else out weight it. I can’t fault this property. I love the unique design it has. Keep up the great work!

Excellent hotel but space to improve

Lovely boutique hotel, well located, nicely decorated, spacious and cosy room, excellent bed, excellent amenities

Although we lived in France 2 years, I will never like having toilet and shower separated. Also, they have a concept of MaxiBar, instead of minibar, where coffee and tea is located in one place for all the guests. Honestly I prefer a kettle and coffee inside the room

A great spot in Salzburg.

We have stayed here before, and it is still a great place to stay at the edge of Salzburg's old town. The restaurant is great for both dinner and an incredible breakfast. Rooms are lovely.

Stylish hotel in great location with good services.

Hotel style was great. Location was really good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Cafe-bar for guest was great. Rooms were clean. The hotel bikes were brilliant - we loved taking them to explore the city. Bathroom toiletries were lovely.

WiFi was sketchy - kept having to leave and rejoin network. The casting function to share a tablet screen on the room TV didn’t work. The mattresses were too soft, as well as the pillows. It would have been better to have a range of pillows. We ended up sleeping sideways across the bed because the mattresses were not supportive. We had to ask about the guest mobility scheme, and it would have been helpful to have been told in advance.

Nice location but wouldn’t stay again

Location was great and staff were friendly.

No refrigerator in room for snacks/meds, no tea/coffee in room was really disappointing. The main area with tea/coffee didn’t make up for having it in the room. Pillows were thin and when we asked for another they said the hotel was full so we couldn’t get more. WiFi connectivity was very poor and restaurant was overpriced. Breakfast buffet was very limited and you had to pay extra for some of the options.

The location is great, there is an underground parking lot nearby. Breakfast was good, nice service, the coffee was good too.

There were no racks or hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. Allowed courtyard view was actually missing.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the middle of Salzburg old town

Room was large and well appointed for 2 people with 2 basins and a large shower plus a separate toilet which was great! Staff are super friendly and helpful and speak pretty good good English. I would definately come back.

The toilet roll holder is loose and fell off. This needs repairing. The shower head does not tighten so that it can be adjusted outwards.

THE place to stay for the Salzburg Music Festival

This hotel is all about Austrian Hospitality. Right in the centre of the Altstadt.. once there.. we could walk everywhere.. see everything. Really friendly staff... compliments to them!

Best location to old town and good restaurant

Best location possible in old town and there is a shortcut to the nearest public garage A through the museum nearby. Breakfast is good, and our maisonette apartment is spacey and comfortable, art design without being too strange. Receptionist are passionate and polite, nothing to complain

Amazing location , quirky hotel

Amazing location right on the main shopping street. We had a lovely room which felt recently updated and modern. Everything was immaculately clean. Quirky interesting hotel with lots of interesting art throughout

The room didn’t have a minibar or fridge inside- this was not great as we couldn’t buy any snacks and keep them in the fridge. The staff member checking us in was a bit rude making us wait a long time before coming out of the back area to check us in

It was a wonderful stay for a short visit in Salzburg and I would definitely return to this place!

What a lovely hotel that’s clean and with kind staff! I highly recommend. It was perfectly located and was close enough to all the attractions within 15-25 minutes (walk). The breakfast was amazing and it was a great combination of a la cate and a beautiful buffet. The facility is extremely clean and well-designed.

The only thing is that, although the parking is located across the hotel, it’s a gigantic town municipal parking building that has multiple entrances and exits. If you have a problem walking and in need of a parking lot, this wouldn’t be ideal for you.

This hotel is very good

Great location in the inner town. The hotel was accessible, meaning that you could drive right up to the hotel to load and unload luggage. Very funky property with artsy feel. Our room was spacious and functional. The cooling system was good. The breakfast was first class and the restaurant for dinner was excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I would consider this to be a 4 star property. But still very good. Many amenities were missing - no robes or slippers, no hair conditioner, no coffee machine.

Location awesome - the worst WIFI in the modern world.

Location for cost - a real value!!! Rooms were clean, staff was nice. We stayed for a full week but did not use nor miss the breakfast option.

WIFI. They literally told me to go to McDonalds (across the street). In this day and age - WIFI is an easy thing and one a mesh network can be used to provide an excellent service. I would NEVER go for work and stay here. They were also very flat footed when it cam to understanding taxi options.

Great updated property in Salzburg Old Town

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of old town so it was very easy to walk everywhere.

There was construction near the hotel, so it was a bit confusing. We unloaded and then parked the cars in the garage across the street. The Hotel gives a parking discount for the garage, so that is very nice.
