Poor experience at Hotel Hampton on Nov 3, 2025: - The staff mistakenly assigned the room twice. Firstly assigning the wrong room key and hence the key failed to open the room door. Unluckily & Luckily the guest who stayed in this room was just coming back. We showed the key envelop which matched his room otherwise we would become the break-in suspect. The second poor incident was that the staff wrongly assigned the room that had been occupying by other guest. It was so embarrassed when I opened the door and saw another guest inside the room. Hence I insisted the staff had to go with us to open the door on the 3rd trial. I did ask Hampton staff to make apologies to these guests.

Good hotel with lots of amenities for a reasonable price. A great option when flying into/out of YVR. The airport shuttle service is less than ideal -- we were waiting outside for close to an hour watching other shuttles go by multiple times while waiting for their shuttle to arrive.

This was honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The towels were thin and had holes, the room was dusty, and the bed had broken springs. The sheets didn’t feel clean, the floor had crumbs, and even the chair had crumbs on it. The pictures on Hotels.com are definitely not a true reflection of what this place looks like. I would never stay here again—honestly, a hostel would’ve been a better choice.

Overall this was a very good hotel. We got into the area a couple of hours early and before official check-in and they were very accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple of hours before official check-in time. There was a free subtle from the airport to the hotel which was efficient and helpful. Overall the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall this was a good experience and I would use this hotel again if I am ever in the Vancouver area.

The hotel had a shuttle from the airport, limited dining in the the area, poor sidewalks to the dining area on a very busy road and no restaurant or bar at the hotel. The did have a bus to the cruise port with two other stops along the way and had to let us out one block from the port. I would rate the experience an 8.

It was a great hotel and even allowed us to check in to one of the rooms early to have somewhere for our luggage while they cleaned the other room. The only complaint I have is the noise. Not from the street but the other hotel room doors closing and opening. Great location though and the airport shuttle was great.

The hotel was average. The shuttle service was beyond poor. We waited at the Vancouver airport almost an hour and was told twice the shuttle was 10 or 15 away. I saw multiple other hotel shuttles come by multiple times but Hampton was no where to be found. The front desk staff had no explanation about the poor service. But he was not rude or disrespectful. The room was clean which is what i would expect from any hotel. The surrounding area appears to be an older part of town and industrial. On my only good mark was that the front desk person recommended a very good restaurant to go to.

We stayed one night night in Vancouver after our Alaska cruise. The hotel offered a shuttle pick up for a charge, but it was cheaper for a family of 4 to Uber back from the port than to use the hotel shuttle. We did use the shuttle to the airport, which was free. Everything was comfortable and great. We got in at 11 from our cruise and they had a room ready for us early at noon.

The room was comfortable. Hot breakfast each morning never disappointed. Good internet. We had a family of 4 and there were 4 towels in the room which is rare for us. Many places were walking distance to the hotel. At the airport the free shuttle was full so we had to wait 25 minutes for it to return. The bathroom door slides shut, doesn't lock, and you can partially see into the bathroom through a crack so this was nightmare fuel for my 2 teenagers. Those were my only complaints.
