    Very nice building and ambiance; well, it is a real castle. Staff were courteous and helpful for the most part. Exceptional breakfast, with a huge continental selection as well as cooked, plated breakfast options; you can have both ! A formal restaurant (reservations required) and the Library Bar, which is actually nicer than the restaurant, and also offers food choices; no reservations required. Rooms quite nice, but carpet not too clean. Also, the sneck on the two (courtyard) rooms we had, didn't work (probably intentionally), so basically anyone with a key to our room could enter it; even while we were in the room !? External door wasn't ever locked either No shaver socket in the bathroom, which we usually rely on for our American plug phone charger. Two bottles of water, on arrival, but they were not replenished when we extended our stay by a night. All in all, a pleasant experience at a remarkably reasonable price.

    The restaurant had a nice feel , not cheap though. Room was good value for money and the restaurant staff were good.

    Nice place been there a couple of times now expensive restaurant I find it quite boring. Don’t think I’ll be going back. The breakfast wasn’t all that.
