We have stayed in this hotel before and knew what to expect. The rooms may be slightly smaller than most but very comfortable with nice decoration.
Perhaps residents parking would be nice as it is very popular.

The staff were efficient and friendly. The service was exceptional. The food was excellent with a wide choice of dishes available. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing.

Quiet room with a comfy bed and little extras included that make your stay more comfortable, like tea, coffee, water etc. The breakfast is always excellent and filling and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Its just a short drive to the park and ride to get into Durham too and we also ate a lovely and filling evening meal here too.
They are very minor, as we love this place and would stay again but a few more hooks on the door of the bathroom, to give somewhere to hang wet towels and a bedside lamp with an easier switch to find in the middle of the night, would just make this place perfect.
