Arrived to a room with no heat or air then after finally getting moved to another room that had no hot water I was told to let the water run for 15 minutes to get hot. Went to use the toilet and it was clogged. Wanted to enter the rear of the building to unload our suitcases and the key fob on the door was broken. Had loud music playing in the room above us from 12 midnight to 1 am. This was the worst stay I ever had in my 63 years of life.

I’ve stayed here before and would again, even though this time wasn’t a good experience. The rooms are always clean and the service is excellent. One time the bed was broken and I was promptly moved. This time the heat was stuck on and the air conditioning didn’t work at all. My child fell asleep before we could move so it was like (trying to) sleep on the surface of the sun! Better luck next time…

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable with the thicker quilt that we liked. The bathroom seemed newly remodeled and was very clean. Much better than other motels we stayed in. A very important factor.

The hotel its self was very very dirty bags of trash sitting outside all the entrance doors. The entirety of the hotel smelled terrible. The lobby was a mixture of marijuana and pet smells while the upper floor smelled like burned strong food. It was awful. Thankfully the room inside did not smell. There were a lot of things that hinted the room had not been properly cleaned. The sink had spots in it, dirt and stains and who knows what in the toilet. The sheets and comforter on one bed had visible dirt and hair on them. The light in the entrance of the room flickered and the air conditioner were so dirty we couldn’t turn them on because all the dirt inside would have flown into the room. Honestly if we had any other choice we would have left without staying the night.

It's a little outdated. I was kind of confused on when I booked this online and prepaid through hotels.com that I was still asked for a security deposit of $40, When we got to the hotel. We had just stayed in a microtel in Franklin North Carolina which was also booked online and we were not asked to pay a security deposit and when we asked the girl she really couldn't explain why they were asking for one

Was booked to stay for a week. I passed the building twice because it looked nothing like the photos provided when booking. First red flag after walking into the lobby, there was a crackhead asking reception if they offered hourly rates and I couldn’t blame her after looking at the condition of the place. But rate was cheap and I didn’t expect to hang out in the lobby so not too bothered, yet. Asked to be put in a room that overlooked the parking so I can keep an eye on the car. They replied that they were fully booked like I’m an idiot and didn’t see a total of 4 cars in the parking lot. Reception was magically able to find the right room available after doing the math. Thought the worst was behind me until I opened the door to the room. It was filthy, stains on the wall which were accentuated with crumbling furniture and the smell of regret. I spent a total of 15 minutes in there booking another hotel before I went back to reception requesting a refund and checkout. Microtel hid behind hotels.com, hotels.com hid behind getting “approval” from Wyndam to refund me. I spent 15 minutes in the room out of a week long stay and they have the audacity to put it through a “review process”. The low price doesn’t justify the issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall unacceptable condition of the property. Looking for a pet friendly clean place where you won’t catch hepatitis, checkout ALoft Louisville East.

I pre paid for our room months prior for a reason. We got there checked in, paid deposit fee, but actually paid for our already paid for room again. So we were down $400 during our trip. We got our refund and the staff was nice, but it’s absolutely unacceptable to double charge. We had to wait till we were already done with our trip and at home to receive our refund. Not to mention our room was tiny and their outside area was directly outside the entrance. So the “regulars” are just outside staring at everyone booking in. I won’t be returning for the simple fact of being double charged. That extra money should have been in our bank account, not held for a refund.

Got to the hotel only to run into issues with them finding my reservation in the system. Extremely panic inducing during a festival weekend with no other hotels available. Hotel feels extremely dated. Room had a very musty smell and A/C unit was dirty. Mattress was very uncomfortable and I woke up with tons of bug bites on my back after the 2nd night.

Overall, the hotel was great. It was affordable, felt safe, and the staff was friendly. The only complaints I have are that there were no provided shampoo and conditioner like most hotels have, and the breakfast selection was disappointing. The only hot food options for breakfast were biscuits and gravy and sausage; there were no scrambled eggs. In conclusion, this place is great if you need an affordable place to sleep, but maybe not the best choice for longer stays.

They have roaches big ones and lil ones as well as ticks... the hotel refused to answer the phone for hotels.com and refused to refund me... we traveled from Detroit to Louisville and this experience was horrible... NEVER SLEEP HERE.... i booked for 2 days stayed 2 hours and was forced to pay full balance for both nights no help from hotels.com or microtel

The ac in my room did not work the temp outside at 2am was 88 degrees I woke up to it being almost 110 in my room. Hotel staff unwilling to discount room even though the ac was report to night clerk who was going to send maintenance but nobody ever came to help no other room option was given and I was expected to stay in the hotel room all night long the was inhumane and unacceptable
