The location was great for highway access

The drug dealing in the parking lot. The people smoking cigarettes and other drugs making it stink in the rooms and hallways. The roaches running around the room and across my stuff. And when ya tell the staff they don’t do anything about it.

Not a good experience

I liked the size of the room.

The dishes they had here were dirty. The A/C was out for two days. And when they finally sent someone to fix it, I had to deal with a maintenance person pretty much taking over my room for a whole day. And still only half fixed it. The bedroom has no air. The toilet didn’t work when we first got here. And on top of all that - we kept getting harassed by the front desk over payment. They called several times back to back. Made us run back and forth from the room to the front. They would call and wake us up at 6:30 in the morning demanding hundreds of dollars, even after I thought we had resolved the issue (there was no issue).

Nice place to enjoy a little relaxation

The staff was amazing and efficient the checking in step took less than 5 minutes.

No smart TVs and some of the facilities were down but that was because of reconstruction so it wasn't too big of a deal.

We received many e-mails confirming our reservations; it is an 8+ hr drive from our home to Louisville so we left home by 8am on Feb 14th. Later that morning, our hired hand (checking mail & phone msgs for us) advised that there was a msg from MainStay Suites advising that they were unable to accommodate our reservation at that time & to call back. Our thinking was that if they were not able to accommodate us, what was the point of calling back! We should have been advised of that very impt information before the day of our reservation! We continued to Louisville & made other motel/hotel arrangements for the duration of our trip.

The front desk was extremely friendly and efficient. It is very easy to locate and has a cluster of places to eat across the street.

The room felt a little dark. There was a dirty dish and the top of the fridge was kind of dirty but it was high enough that I wouldn't have known if not sharing the room with someone taller (the rest of the room seemed clean enough and the bathroom was clean)
