The room was wonderful. Comfy and super clean The staff was superb. Including the valet men. The front desk staff was exceptional. They ALL went above and beyond and made us feel at home. We really loved the downstairs pub. So much fun. We have claimed this hotel our go to when we visit fabulous Asheville!

We absolutely loved staying at The Restoration in Asheville. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly. The room was elegantly decorated, room amenities perfect, and the basket of goodies in the morning at our door made the start of each day perfect. We enjoyed the complementary charcuterie board and wines each evening, and enjoyed an after dinner beverage downstairs at the fabulous Dutchman Bar in the lower level. Will definitely be back!

Great staff, particularly the valet guys. The room was nice and clean. I was disappointed that the coffee place rarely seemed to be open except in the morning and that cups for water were not refilled throughout the day. Other than these small things, we really liked the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with little surprises throughout! The room was large with a section couch and well stocked mini bar. The bar was beautiful! The happy hour, the cute little breakfast basket… all so well done. And the service was impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, kind, and happy to help!

The property was very pet friendly, but it costs $75 per night. Matt, the valet, was the best for helping us out from the time we arrived through our last night there. He provided rides for us when we were drinking, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and was super friendly. Everyone on the staff worked hard to ensure our stay was amazing. This will be our first choice hotel in Asheville from now on.

This is hands down one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in from check in to check out everything was fantastic. The quality and detail in every room, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the basket left at your door with enough to get your day going, was adorable and thoughtful! The location in downtown was perfect for shopping, dining, exploring, the Cherokee center all in walking distance!! We had a wonderful time

Initial reaction was a great one! Beautiful hotel, great location, lots of great amenities, and cool bars and restaurants. A cute little breakfast basket is delivered to your room every morning. Repeating what was included in the basket, but it's a cute idea. Valet staff were responsive and friendly, and the evening social with wine and charcuterie was a nice touch. My most important comment for this review is that, despite the amazing physical location, we had a significant issue with the outlets in our room. If you use any medical machine, such as a CPAP, it will turn off after an hour of no movement in the room. Every outlet was on a motion sensor. If you use one, you understand that your machine turning off makes for a bad night of sleep. Our expectation was that this would be addressed with as much care and detail as the hotel exudes. However, after a few calls and two trips to the front desk, we were met with complete indifference and a lackadaisical solution to this matter. The staff at the front desk seemed either bored or annoyed by our need for help with this situation, and despite multiple explanations of what was happening, they still didn't really care. I thought this would be our go-to place to stay when we visit family in Asheville, but my husband and I agree that it was disheartening and a little embarrassing for us to beg for assistance. In the end, no amenities can replace a good night's sleep.

I stay at a lot of hotels and there is no question that The Restoration is now in my top 5. Perfectly situated in downtown Asheville, the property is close to everything. Park the car and forget about it, because everything is in walking distance. The hotel itself is gorgeous, well appointed and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you need. The staff are awesome from the moment you valet until you check out the staff truly understands and models customer service. Don't miss the cool roof top bar with great views and go have some fun donwstairs in the mini entertainment and bar area. If you are looking to visit Asheville look no futher, this is your place.
