    We stayed here for 2 nights, we checked in a put our stuff in the room and went out for the day, when we came back in the afternoon we were laid in bed and could smell urine. We got out of bed and couldnt see an obvious mark but there was a patch that 100% stank of pee. I informed reception and they didnt seem to believe me at first, didnt come smell the bed just upgraded me to a bigger room. The next day at breakfast I was confronted by the staff to tell me it was nothing it worry about and they didnt find anything and that maybe just someone spilled water without them knowing. So basically they just didnt believe us and played it off like it was nothing and we got a free upgrade. This is awful, they should of just come with me to the room at the time and smelt it for themselves and admitted someone has missed it, rather then making out like it never happened. Wouldn't recommend this hotel because of this.

    Bits of the hotel are great - very cosy and welcoming. Our room, however, was a bit dark (surrounded by scaffolding) and quite small considering it is a deluxe room. The mattress is exceptionally hard. The manager was not particularly welcoming or helpful. Breakfast was average and on both mornings that we stayed there were no pastries available. The furniture in the room was a little tatty in places. A reasonable stay but I wouldn't rush back.
