The room absolutely stunk, the sheets stunk, the mattress had gone so had sharp springs digging in. Outdated and stained furniture. DO NOT BOTHER

Great place to have a drink and eat but don’t think I’d pay that much to stay there over night! Maybe the price was high

Staff absolutely incredible every single member of staff there are very good at their job! They are so accommodating and welcoming always so friendly and can’t do enough to help. Food was brilliant couldn’t fault it

The room I feel was starting to look a bit worn! Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC and the bed wasn’t very comfy definitely over priced

Breakfast was very good. Could have opted for full English but had either scrambled or poached eggs

It is set up predominantly for eating. Would have been nice if they had a relaxing area with some comfy chairs and sofas. The location was great as only a few minutes walk from the town. I must complement the staff all of which were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They were all a credit to the company

The room was very tired and the lighting was poor. After we found the tv wasn’t working we were moved to another room but again the room was very tired with very poor lighting and the windows would not close properly. No shaver socket in bathroom.

Cheap enough to accept its flaws but could be so much better.

Room very tired, couldn’t turn off radiator so room was far too hot and couldn’t open window wide enough. Kind of felt like you were in staff quarters. Noise from above (not pub - think family quarters) children running around meant no lie in so left early. Could be so much better as location and the white rabbit pub are excellent.

Lovely location with very pleasant staff who were always willing to help.

The lighting in the room was not good. It is clearly the light bulbs which are the warm up type. I suffer from glaucoma and need good lighting. Bathroom lighting was good.

Perfect weekend away

The whole weekend was perfect. All the staff especially the assistant manager were so kind and helpful. The service for our meal Friday evening was exceptional and the breakfast was beautifully cooked and served.

This is a personal thing but have you considered putting grab rails in the bathroom in room 12 apart from that there was nothing we did not like.

Nice pub with rooms, great place to walk from to enjoy the new forest.

Evening meal and Breakfast was lovely, value for the money, the room was small but sheets and bathroom was clean and smart looking.

Only one coffee sachet each in the room and the cups were dirty but staff soon changed the cups.

Dirty, noisy & cold.

Location wise The White Rabbit is ideal for a stay in Lyndhurst. The staff were lovely, they were the only redeeming factor. They were also left very short staffed & still kept a smile on their face. Without them I would have likely left mid stay.

The Pub itself is very average, not very in keeping with the cosy, country feeling of the rest of the town & its pubs and hotels. The rooms, well disgusting, cobwebs, dirty glasses, water left in a limescale covered kettle. Rusty equipment in the bathroom & an excrement stained Toilet that had a broken seat! Very very poor cleaning standards, paired with the heating left off making the room in winter ice cold on arrival & paper thin walls allowing me to hear next doors Tv & Snoring all night

The service is way beyond expectation from managers and staff...they go out of their way to achieve excellence. The food was way better than you would expect from a chain restaurant....it was easily 5 star. We will be back twice next year.

Room 9 toilet needs a little more space.....turn it into the corner. Stairs were a little difficult for 75 year olds.

Both Evening meals and breakfasts at the location was very good.

I Fail to understand why the tv needed to be hung on the wall over the bathroom door, when the " superior" room had a lounge. The "superior" room had an over the bath shower and a non slip bath mat was only available on request. Should be standard for safety. The bath was very small and the shower temperature was temperamental. The bed was a standard double.The room doesn't warrant a "Superior " label aside for the lounge area and wasn't really worth the extra cost.

Great visit again !

Location mainly but the staff are always friendly and willing to help . Rooms are very comfortable, lighting is awful and old fashioned and in our room , the plugs were not in convenient places - no usb sockets yet I noted. Shower was awesome, heating was good and cooked breakfast was very nice . We really like this hotel/pub , it gives us everything we need in a superb location just 5 minutes walk from the town and only 2 minutes from the open forest . They are very dog friendly and our 2 settle in straight away - which they dont always in other places we visit.We have been returning here for 3 years since we discovered it and hope the future allows us to continue to visit for many years yet . Overall this place is a 9.5 /10 for us .

Not much sleep but room was clean and larger than expected for a small double.food was great at lunch time

Clean, good location,

Cold room on arrival but did warm nicely with radiator noise outside all night which I presume was the compressor for the cellar woke every several times at least 1-2 times an hour. Breakfast in the morning was good value for continental however there were deposits in the orange juice from the dispenser which when pointed out there was an apology but the juice dispenser was not removed to be cleaned and continued to be used (very disappointing)
