The room allocated was very good as it was at the rear of the property, rooms towards the front suffer from road noise as there is a busy road that runs along the front of the property.

The food was okay-ish, but the tables were sticky and suffered from a repeated wipe over. Whilst there we had a Sunday roast (Turkey) but the meal was over cooked potatoes almost cremated and the meat was a processed meat mort like a Turkey loaf that carved from an actual joint. In addition the food was not particularly hot and took some time to reach the table.

We originally planned to stay for two nights, but ended up staying for almost a week, because the place itself, the staff and the location were absolutely wonderful. Many thanks to everyone at the White Rabbit and especially to Dan for making our trip to the New Forest so pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the room spacious and quiet. The White Rabbit is within walking distance of Bolton's Bench, which is the main tourist attraction in Lyndhurst and the starting point of New Forest trails.

The rooms are upstairs, which could be tricky for people with mobility issues or heavy luggage. However, Dan and other people at the White Rabbit were happy to help us with our suitcase.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, dinners were good

The bed mattress was a little bit hard, apart from that everything was fine

Location was brilliant just within the town
