Ormonde House Hotel

Very clean property. Friendly staff. We made the staff aware of our celebrations for our 40th wedding anniversary and they decorated our breakfast table and our bedroom with banner, rose petals and even towels shaped like swans in a heart shape on our bed

Overall experience was very good. Location is excellent. Staff were friendly. Room and facilities were very good.

The location was very nice and close to the high street , the room was big and the bed was comfortable

The room smelt damp , it also had a double spa bath with instructions on the wall in the bathroom , I filled it up and when I turned it on to start the jets up it didn’t work , so I had to get out and dressed to go and speak to a member of staff, who then informed me “ had I turned the little green switch on “ that was located outside the bathroom at the bottom of the wall in the bedroom , if this had been added to the how to use instructions in the bathroom that would of been very helpful and I wouldn’t of had to inconvenience myself ! Also we were woken up several times during the night from the people in the room above as it was not sound proofed at all , we could here them talking , turning lights on and off , flushing the loo and closing doors , so we weren’t very rested after being woken all hours , so that would put us off staying again ! And another thing I found strange , when we arrived for breakfast we were told there was orange juice or water available whilst we waited for our food and coffee to arrive , and we were pointed out the little table that had the jugs of said juice and water , and the juice looked very watery , it turned out to be orange squash , in all my years of staying at hotels I’ve never been offered juice and it’s been orange squash 🤣 just a bit odd in my opinion

Lovely large warm room. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Breakfast was lovely

Nothing to dislike

Location was good. Room pleasant not spectacular. Didn't eat or drink there so can't comment.

No mini fridge in room or water. Common areas could do with a bit of TLC and tidying.
