Jenny and Keith run a well organised B&B, our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable the fridge was stocked with fresh juice and milk, the breakfast was cooked perfectly and was plentiful, it is only a five minute walk into Lyndhurst high street where there are plenty of places to eat, it is by far the best place that we have stayed at in Lyndhurst, will definitely stay there again, it is highly recommended.
We can not fault this accommodation

The hosts, Jenny & Keith, provided exceptional hospitality; they were both friendly & chatty. A wide array of walking maps/information on the New Forest was readily available at reception. The cosy room was thoughtfully equipped with many extras such as a shoeshine, sewing kit, cotton pads, earbuds, hot water bottle as well as a selection of tea and coffee, alongside water & juice in the fridge. Jenny kindly shopped for gluten-free bread, cereals, biscuits, and soya milk, including a thoughtful gesture of gluten-free biscuits in the room— much appreciated after a long hike enjoyed with a cuppa.
The breakfast selection was amazing and very tasty. The property is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from town through the back garden, which was full of house sparrows visiting well-stocked bird feeders—a delightful scene from our window. We were extremely satisfied with our experience and look forward to returning. Keith….we give you an 11/10 !! Best regards M&L x

I stayed for a long weekend with my wife and six year old son. The room was comfortable and well stocked with teas, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits a mini fridge with milk, water and even fresh orange juice. It had a lovely en-suite bathroom with a big bath and shower. Jenny the host was extremely helpful, friendly and kind. She made us feel welcome and almost like we were visiting a relative which was lovely. The breakfast was really yummy and we had plenty to eat.

The owners are very welcoming, the room had everything you could need and more-they clearly put a lot of thought into it ( drinking water next to bed, reading lights, games, bubble bath in the bathroom...and more). We felt really well looked after and genuinely very welcomed, which I think is important as you are effectively staying in someone's home. It felt a bit like visiting your mum/grandma who likes to fuss over you (in a good way!).
My son loved the place and felt at ease even though he can feel nervous in new places and with strangers. We both enjoyed chatting to the hosts and looking at the birds feeding in the garden each morning and looking at all the curious and fun nick-knacks that fill the breakfast room. It is a place full of charachter.
The location is excellent, especially for us as we didn't have a car-the heritage centre is 2mins walk, Bolton Bench is 5mins walk, the local tourist bus stop 2mins...yet it is quiet. Would be happy to come back again, good value for money.
We were a bit unlucky with the local club hosting a beer festival the weekend we visited, it was a bit loud but finished at about 11pm so probably not a problem for most people. Nothing the owners could control, of course, though they did say they made complaint to the council as they too found it a bit much.

The breakfast was exceptional, well cooked and huge choice. Served very quickly after requested. We have travelled all over the world and would rate the food amongst the best we have had. The room was very clean and comfortable and good value.
There is nothing we didn't like.

Jenny could not have been more hospitable. She has thought of everything (and more!) that you could possibly need. Delicious breakfast with locally sourced produce. Location excellent as so close to the High Street.
With the twin room being cosy and access to our room up stairs that were a little steep with tall people needing to duck, we were glad we only brought our overnight bags in and not our suitcases. However, this was a minor issue for us as we really enjoyed our stay.

Jenny is such an amazing & knowledgeable host. She goes at lengths to make sure that everyone is happy. Her breakfast is outstanding. It’s a lovely house in the centre of Lyndhurst, yet very calm & quiet. Beds are great & the private bathroom as well. Clean towels & toiletries all provided.
It can be quite warm, apart from the tiny travel size fan there’s nothing to cool the room. Since it’s not too big it heats up quickly with several people in the room. Airco or blinds might be solutions.

Fabulous B&B, lovely warm welcome from Jenny & Keith. Fresh milk & orange juice were provided in the mini fridge. Excellent breakfast, set us up for a days cycling in the New Forest. Great location for exploring the New Forest. Nothing was too much trouble 😊

We loved our stay at Rosedale. Jenny and her husband were always very kind and hospitable. We had juice, water and milk placed daily in our mini fridge and we also had biscuits placed in our room. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely as well and prepared daily for us. They also let us use their bike sheds to store our bikes which was very much appreciated. The house is super close to the centre, only a few minute walk to the heritage centre, a 10 minute walk to Bolton's bench and also very close to shops and restaurants. Great stay overall.

We had a very comfortable stay at Rosedale. The room had little extras like a carafe by the bed and lots of information about the area, which made things more convenient. Jenny was a lovely host and the breakfast was wonderful- one of the best breakfasts that I've had in a b and b. The location was perfect for walking and accessing the high street. Highly recommended!
Nothing really.

Jenny and Keith were the perfect hosts, so friendly and helpful. They were also brilliant with our two young sons. The location is great for walking to Lyndhurst High Street within a couple of mins. The breakfast was also superb, the sausages and bacon were top class and no request seemed too much for Jenny to accommodate.

Full english sausage black and overcooked, egg fatty and covered with black bits from the sausage. Shower small, cramped with inward spring loaded doors, which bit on exit. House to fussy and cluttered
