Staying at the hotel de Dieppe was ideal for me, as it was just steps from the train station. American tourists would be pleased to know that the air conditioning is excellent, and for those who have little concern for the environment, the room can be kept quite cool. Check-in and check out are quick and smooth. The personnel is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Access to the center and historical sites are minutes away on foot.

The hotel was lovely and staff was friendly. The room was very comfortable. Would recommend staying here. Do not recommend Cafe Victor. The waiter in the three piece suite is pompous and arrogant. He made us feel uncomfortable and caught him smirking at us as we struggled to read French. We didn’t return for breakfast.

Connie, at front desk was a delight - helpful, personable, went above and beyond to help us make the most of our visit. We had dinner in the hotel bar. The ambience was warm and everything was delicious. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Even though it was small it was well designed and complete, The windows were thick so the room was very quiet, The AC was appreciated, The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linens were gleaming white and high quality. Great hotel for a great price right next to the strain station making our overnight stay a comfortable one.

This place would’ve been five stars, but for two issues. The lift didn’t work, so we had to drag our bags up to flights of stairs before we got the service lift to go up to our room. The second was our carpet seem to be very old and dirty and needs to be replaced. Now let me get to the positives. The staff, especially Marie, was wonderful. They couldn’t have been more helpful. A little note: they control the air conditioner at the front desk, so if it’s not working, you need to go down and have them start it up. Parking is right across the street, and if you pay it at the hotel, it’s only €10. The beds were comfortable and neat, the room was tiny, but that’s a typical European trait. Overall, I love the place and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel de Dieppe. The location is a 5 minute stroll from the city centre which suited us nicely. We didn’t eat here but the bar service was excellent and very friendly. The reception was also extremely helpful when my car wouldn’t start and they called a garage mechanic to help out.

The location is very convenient if you’re arriving by train (can’t miss it coming out of the station). Very clean and room was well equipped and updated. The staff at this hotel are EXCELLENT! Everyone there is an absolute gem, very nice, very helpful very personable. Unfortunately that is really the only nice thing I can say about this place. The rooms are PAINFULLY small, the toilet is in what was clearly once a closet. I am small so it was fine for me, but anyone over 5’5 is going to have a problem sitting down in that tiny restroom (which btw is not attatched to the rest of the bathroom, you must walk through the room to get to the sink) staff GREAT, rooms SUCK!
