Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed.

The Booking.com location photograph is a walk from the actual property - for me that is fine but maybe not for guests with mobility issues. I only realized this when in Stromness.

A lovely comfortable flat in a peaceful but convenient location

I had a lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful flat. The location was perfect, really convenient and easy to get to (10 mins walk from the Stromness ferry terminal) but also very quiet. Áine was really helpful and friendly. The flat had everything you might need and even a basket with some local bread and oatcakes, and milk in the fridge, which was very much appreciated. Thank you so much and I hope to be back again some day!

A beautiful, modern well appointed apartment with plenty of character in a great location

We loved the location in the main Street of Stromness, its fittings and the art and books. It was so wonderful to be able to settle and feel at home!

A perfect stay!

Beautifully decorated, cosy quiet. Well stocked with everything one would need for a stay. Comfy bed. Not far from the ferry and in a non touristy area. And easy to park in front. With excellent detailed instructions.

Only problem and it is very very minor: we hit our heads on the mirror shelf when face washing or teeth brushing. It should be higher above the sink. . But that is truly minimal. And absolutely no problems otherwise.

Self contained apartment in a historic building

This place is great, and the host is amazing. The living room is very comfortable with leather armchairs and 2 place dining table. The bedroom is separate and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small but functional, nice shower. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we need to cook a good evening meal. Location is on the main "road" through Stromness, a short walk to the centre of town, the harbour and the museum, a short drive to most of the Orkney prehistoric landmarks.

Not much, really. Bathroom sink is a bit small.

Relaxed and comfortable

Location was so good. Privacy was great. Provisions saw us through our stay. Kitchen was well equipped and well soundproofed.

Very thoughtful basket of food items and breakfast ingredients. Terrific advice and communication. Well thought out kitchen supplies.
