Good location- close to Stromness with quiet and countryside views. Well equipped, warm and comfortable apartment . Good to have 2 ensuites and a separate toilet. Large eat-in kitchen
Furniture a bit dated

Our host was helpful and friendly. It was a good base for cycling from, and we could keep the bikes under the porch out of the weather. We bought fresh eggs from next door. It wasn't just a quiet spot, it was basically silent (apart from the Orkney wind!). The sofa was comfy and the heating was very flexible and effective.
The Co Op supermarket was only a ten minute walk away. The fairy lights in the bedroom were a nice touch!
It was good to have a washing machine but it could do with a clean around the seal.

Nothing - small sharp kitchen knife would have been helpful.
