Amazing property
The house was lovely and spacious and well planned out.
We did have a slight issue with the radiators not working properly on the first night and listing does say tumble dryer but there wasn't one

Amazing Stay in Victorian House
Location - quiet, close to city centre, local convenient shop & take aways, overlooking park; very well look after and equipped house, clean, toys & games for kids, great communication with Dave (owner), parking permit sorted before arrival, decent outside sitting area, definitely felt like being on holidays. Thank you Dave, definitely stop again.

!!!BEWARE NO FREE PARKING - NOT AS ADVERTISED - BEWARE OF FINES!!!!
The house is a good size with plenty of room and had what we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable and plenty of storage throughout. The shower was acceptable. We reported that the WiFi wasn't working on Monday evening after arriving Sunday and the response we were given was rather unpleasant and unfriendly. The owner arrived shortly after and seemed put out and annoyed with us despite it not being our fault. The cable to the router was severed and had been taped together again. When we said we had moved the router, to get the Wifi code (which had not been provoded elsewhere), he almost suggested we had broken the cable, it was clearly old damage and an attempt to botch a repair was insufficient and it fell apart. He said he would get it repaired and then did not bother to communicate any further or tell us what action he had taken to get the issue resolved and did not contact us for the remainder of our stay. No apology was given at any point either. The heating controller stopped working on the Thursday, we messaged the owner early evening and did not receive a reply until hours after we had vacated the property on the Friday. Thankfully we had hot water and it wasn't too cold so we managed without heating. On our last day both parties found 2 parking tickets each on ours cars, totalling a fine of £70 each. Despite believing there was "free parking" as advertised for this property! There was no information from the owner telling us we would be charged. All in all a very disappointing stay for the £600 we paid with facilities that did not work and a distinct lack of customer service and support from the owner. We are four University students writing research proposals and had to rely on mobile data to complete time sensitive work. The owners attitude on the Monday made us reluctant to make further contact with him.
