Couldnt get just could water from the shower head. Some guest staying in one of the other apartments was smoking and spreading the smell all over the communal stairs, during our 2nd afternoon/evening.

Good weekend stay

Good place to stay when visiting Derby for the weekend. Parking was secure and enough room for our 2 cars. Quiet and easy access. About 30min walk to main centre which wasnt bad. Normal apartment facilities so we were able to cook for ourselves easily.

More cooking equipment would have been useful.

Lovely weekend away

Was in a quiet spot so wasn’t busy or loud, but also just a few minutes away from lots of shops and places to go! The apartment had everything we needed. Free parking with lots of spaces. Lovely layout with modern design and art

Our bath didn’t fill up the plug didn’t quite sit flush so kept draining out. There were a few spots that had cob webs but overall it was clean.

Cheapish, tolerable, but would pay more for better quality.

The location was excellent. It was a quiet neighbourhood. It was very clean.

Facilities were incredibly limited, beds uncomfortable. 2nd bedroom you could barely get to the bed because of a wardrobe in the way. Several light bulbs missing or out, so main lights needed to be used all the tip - and they werent that great. The kitchen was barely functional due to such a poor level of utensils.

The location and parking for 1 car was excellent for our needs. Ease of checking in/out. Clean & spacious

Unfortunately the shower didn't work - water was scalding as thermostat seemed to be broken and the plug in the bath not tight enough to keep water in, therefore very difficult to get washed.

Great place and location!

Spacious and well equipped. Really good shower. Needed a lamp in the living room but we just used the kitchen light & switched all other ceiling lights off later in the evening when sitting in the living room before bedtime. Great location for visiting the city centre, we watched Jess Glynne at Vaillant Live and walked back when finished only took us 25minutes.

Could do with a few more mirrors but it didn’t effect our stay and we really enjoyed the apartment.

A place to stay.

YOU HAVE TO PAY A 150 SECURITY DEPOSIT!!! I had never experienced this before and wasted a lot of time checking whether or not this was a scam as this has recently been reported as a common scam happening through booking.com. Yes the security deposit was paid back promptly after inspection, yes this info is in the “Important information” section that I have never had to read in my 30+ previous bookings on booking.com. It’s helpful to keep recent reviews highlighting this point as I’m not the first to be surprised by this. The apartment was spacious, early 21st century grey décor, unremarkably ok. No door chain which made me feel uneasy, which I realised when the police came knocking on my door asking if I lived there!

Paying a security deposit via an external website. Musty smell in entrance way. No curtains on the window between bedroom and living space.

The location was perfect for me. Parking was right outside the property. The property was just like the pictures. Easy to use key safe.

Property was immaculate, good quiet location. instructions and tips for the local area. It was also lovely that milk, water cereal and coffee was included. Would definitely recommend.

The only slight issue IU had was using the fob to enter the main door, it was a little temperamental.

Free parking, location was good. Apartment had all we needed for the duration. It was a great benefit to be provided with complimentary water and breakfast items - thank you. The price of the accommodation was very good too!

The bed was not very comfortable, it was far too soft for someone with a bad back. The bath over the shower area is very limited due to sloping ceilings so if you are tall this could be a problem as you are more at risk of banging your head.

We like the location of the property, it's close to everything you could want whilst also being in a quiet area. The fact water bottles & milk are provided in the fridge is lovely and the cereal and other treats are appreciated!

We honestly really love this place and stay here every time we visit derby, the only thing we have found to be an ongoing issue is the limited hot water I'm not sure if it's on a timer but it runs out quickly only allowing us to shower at certain times for a short duration. A weekly vacuum under the sofa bed mattress and making sure bathroom tiles are wiped down properly would make these apartments 10/10.

Very spacious, very well appointed apartment, which provided us with all we needed for our two night stay. The welcome pack of tea/coffee, milk and cereal was very welcome. Would certainly go back there if I visit Derby again.

The little extras like milk and water in the fridge were great! Beds were really comfy. Bedrooms were dark. We all slept really well! Facilities were great. Shower in the en-suite was really powerful.

The Stay Company presented as a professional outfit. I have stayed with them before. Dalby House particularly is very good but the apartment i had on this occasion wasn't as good as previously. The ceilings were too low in the bedroom and toilet. The bed was too low, almost on the floor. Notwithstanding, the apartment was very clean and welcoming.

The low ceilings. Every time I stood up, head banged straight into the low ceilings. The bed was too low and difficult to get up from. There was also low ceiling in the bathroom. The toilet especially was set directly under the low ceiling. I want to make clear that the shortcomings appeared unique to the particular apartment I had. I didn't experience similar problems in previous Stay Company apartments I've stayed in.

Very welcoming reception with cereal boxes, milk in the fridge, tea bags etc. Spacious lounge / kitchen. Peaceful location.

Hygiene sheet / Long broom / Jacket peg rack missing. Corner lamp in lounge not working. Single room rather cramped.
