Charmante stadswoning aan Groen Kwartier

The flat is very clean, well equipped and absolutely updated, has some external space as well. Lizz is supersupportive and the bikesharing availability a cadeau very much appreciated. The area is absolutely nice, safe and quiet, the Green Quartier was an amazing surprise, with a supermarket 100 m away, many restaurants and facilities nearby and anyway the stay is15-20 mins away from the center by bike.

Not so easy to find parking for the car at night. It's a three floor apartment, so the internal steep stairs have to be considered if you have small kids or have mobility issues. A washing machine would be the cherry on the cake to complete the equipment if you are planning to stay some days.

The little house was cozy and with thoughtful natural herbal touches throughout, such as herbal teas, natural soaps and refreshing herbal sprays. These little details created a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the level of cleanliness. I found hairs from previous guests on the pillow and on the bed linen, which did not give me a hygienic or fresh feeling. Clean, fresh bedding and good hygiene are very important for me. There were also food remnants in the sink, the refrigerator was not clean, and there were small pieces of plastic on the floor, which I ended up cleaning myself. I had not expected this , and it was a pitty, especially because the little house was so pleasant and cozy. The very steep staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom was also quite difficult to use .

Everything was great. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the hosts were responsive and helpful. I personally had no issues with the stairs to the second floor, although they might be challenging for less athletic guests.

The only downside was the internet connection — it was almost non-existent on both the first and second floors. On the ground floor, however, the connection was excellent. It would be great if the repeater could be replaced or upgraded. Also, the kitchen chairs were not very comfortable to sit on for longer than about 10 minutes.
