Enjoyed our stay.

Location was great, close to shops, restaurants and walking distance to attractions and the water front. Free car parking was awesome. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was very roomy with plenty of space.

Heating - not warm enough. Could not get the stove to work - would be a good idea to have some instructions available for guests for future. Having a toaster would also be a bonus addition for guests and a bath mat.

Decent but beware of tourist tax

Very clean appartement, decent location and good matresses!

1. Incorrect tourist tax charge: Walter initially asked us to pay €40 for the tourist tax, while the correct amount was €24. After I sent him proof of the correct amount, he acknowledged the mistake but did not apologize. Beware, the correct tax is 3 EUR per day per person. Moreover, the receipt provided by Walter already includes the tourist tax in the total amount paid via Booking.com, which makes the request for additional cash payment confusing and inappropriate. 2. Poorly equipped apartment: The apartment was missing basic items: no salt or pepper, no hand soap, no oil, the range hood could not be plugged in, and only 4 cl of shower gel was provided for four guests. 3. Unsafe parking situation: The parking gate was broken and opened only about 70%, with no prior warning from the host. As a result, our car was scratched while trying to enter.

Positively, a big apartment, with parking, but since it's near the train, it's noisy and not very comfortable. It depends on your priorities. No coffee or working TV. Nearest store opens at 9.

Single pot coffee maker for 3 adults, but no starter coffee or soap, shampoo, etc. Small towels for showering. The outside door to apartment doesn't lock.

A very pleasant stay

Our host Walter was very responsive and accommodating. He allowed us to deposit our luggage at the apartment and to park our car in the private parking early. The apartment was spacious, clean and it had everything we required for our stay. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the port and the historic centre. We ate at a little trattoria nearby (cucina casalinga da Mario) which we really enjoyed.

Aproape de gara centrală și centrul orașului. Dotat cu parcare închisă și curte interioară.

Zgomotul produs de trenurile ce trec prin apropiere și de traficul de pe stradă, apartamentul fiind situat la parterul clădirii.

INHABITABLE insalubre, horror, estafa.

Dueño estafador, no apareció cuando surgieron los problemas y le pedí ayuda. Por WhatsApp dijo que estaba fuera durante mi estancia, que yo comprase lo que necesitara y le dijera mi nºde cuenta bancaria dijo que lo reembolsaría 2 días después de mi salida. Si vino alguien a coger el dinero efectivo de la tasa turística que deposite en caja exterior con código, ; sin embargo, no vino a ayudar. No es legal pedir mi IBAN.Si alquila debe atender al cliente.Todo viejo.Cuando fuimos a cenar vi cocina sucia:platos,sartén, estropajo con restos orgánicos de alimentos, moho en las balletas de limpieza. No funciona extracción de humos ni la luz. En el baño: inodoro sucio con orina salpicada, mal olor y estropeado wc: al usarlo empezaron a flotar excrementos. Se enfadó al pedirle un fontanero que arreglase. Nos telefoneó con gritos insultos y amenazas. Al abrir sofá cama salieron bichos corriendo, repugnante insalubre. Mi hija durmió como pudo en la cama de sus 2 hermanos: INACEPTABLE. Era muy tarde para marcharnos de esa casa desastre en ese momento. Nos fuimos una noche antes por ser INHABITABLE y por MIEDO a las amenazas y gritos del propietario. No devuelve dinero de momento y pide 300€ acusándonos de atascar inodoro. Ha seguido llamándonos, acosándonos. Siento miedo e indefensión.

L'appartement bien situé pour visiter Gênes.

L'appartement situé à proximité du centre de Gênes nous a permis de visiter un peu à pied et nous avons apprécié de pouvoir trouver un restaurant sans prendre le véhicule. Le parking à notre disposition très appréciable.

Un peu de trafic car à proximité de la gare, mais pas trop dérangant.

Dichtbij het centrum en toch rustig

Parkeerplaats naast het appartement dat kon worden afgesloten met een hek. Het appartement biedt voldoende ruimte en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Van het station dat vlakbij ligt heb je totaal geen last omdat het appartement een stuk hoger ligt. Het centrum is goed te voet bereikbaar.

Vorsicht!!! Nie wieder!!

Das Apparment war eiskalt und ungemütlich. Nach unserer Abreise wurden wir darüber informiert, angeblich unlösbare Flecken auf der Bettwäsche hinterlassen zu haben. Leider habe ich keine Beweisfotos dafür, dass wir dass Apparment sauber und ordentlich zurückgelassen haben. Auf den Kosten bin ich sitzen geblieben.

Genua is een verrassend leuke stad. We komen er zeker terug!

Goede ligging en voortreffelijk toegerust met mooie badkamer en goede bedden en veel kastruimte. De keuken was ruim en goed ingericht. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep ook erg prettig.

Posizione piano strada. Tapparelle non bloccabili e conseguente senso di insicurezza. Necessità di chiudere le finestre creando un caldo insopportabile. Assenza condizionatori. Ventilatori rumorosi. Prossimità ai binari stazione con rumore continuo.

Genua op een hete dag: niet hier!

We zijn heel vriendelijk ontvangen.

Om in een hete periode in een stad als Genua te verblijven, in een appartement zonder goede verkoeling, waarbij er ook niet de mogelijkheid was om de ramen te openen (geen horren en te veel buitengeluid door o.a. de treinen), was echt niet te doen. Daarnaast staat het appartement in een wijk die niet heel veilig aanvoelt (en wij komen uit een grote stad).
