Terrible host, disappointing house not clean and no hot water

I liked i was able to get to the city

I didnt like the fact the boiler didnt work and the host didnt even try to help, i didnt like the fact there was moldy milk bowl outside or the fact we was lied to about the wifi

Very unclean. We couldn’t sleep in our beds as sheets weren’t changed from previous stay. We slept on top of our covers and covered ourselves with blankets. Also floor definitely not cleaned for a while same as the bathroom. Garden wasn’t cleaned for a long time, tall nettles everywhere which I had to cut myself with a garden scissors that I found there as my son got stung when he tried to play in the garden. I didn’t receive the key box code and had to call myself to get it when we arrived to the property.

Poor experience

The location was good for us.

The house had not been cleaned, sheets not changed (there was hair in the beds), parking space not available, garden had rusty tools, cigarette butts, vapes and rubbish in it. The check in instructions came late, leading to confusion and the host was very unresponsive. We had to do the cleaning ourselves, use our own linen and avoid the garden as I had kids.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience

I had a terrible experience with this property. When I arrived, I followed the check-in instructions provided on Booking — I accessed the locker with the correct code and retrieved the keys. However, when I opened the apartment door, I was absolutely shocked. The place was a complete mess: empty beer cans, leftover food, alcohol bottles, clothes scattered on the floor, backpacks, phone chargers, and personal belongings were everywhere. It looked like previous guests hadn’t even left — it felt like I had just walked into someone’s still-occupied apartment. What made things worse was that the host had been unresponsive for over two days before my arrival, and when I tried to contact them after discovering the condition of the apartment, they didn’t answer their phone — it went straight to voicemail. I spent over two hours on the phone with Booking customer service trying to cancel the reservation and resolve the situation. This was an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. It completely ruined the beginning of my trip, and I would absolutely not recommend this property to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
