Nice flat but probably wouldn’t stay again, seemed overpriced and couldn’t quite relax there

Great location, easy transport links. Nice apartment, nice view from the window. Good beds, comfy. Quick communication

Very loud, even though we were on the top floor there was a lot of noise on the roof all night. Not equipped for 3 people, beds weren’t made up as we were told they would be, only 2 bowls, 2 spoons etc. No dish cloth. Constantly told they would charge us more if we did something wrong e.g if we put the wrong code in the front door twice we would be charged 100£. Felt unable to relax because of this. Had to confirm a 150£ security deposit after paying for room already , wasn’t stated before booking it. Parking was 10£ per day, seems a lot.

Eastern Bristol is a very poor location and options for vegetarian breakfast are limited We were not informed that our room was on the 3rd floor We had to carry 4 big bags up to 3 storeys

The apartment itself was great: clean, comfortable, and quiet. However, being on the third floor with no lift made bringing up heavy luggage quite a physical challenge. This may not be suitable for older guests or those with mobility issues.

The worst experience

The only good thing about this was having the TV, and all the facilities.

Had all the facilities but no tools or products to use them even booking says you do have cleaning products. Shower drain clogged with hair, flooded bathroom and we was told to deal with it or they keep the 150 quid deposit. The cutlery had food on it still, sofa bed has food crumbs and hair, sticky floors in kitchen. Cold shower and was told nothing can be done so we had to move from Flat 9 to 10. First night in Flat 10 my partner had a seizure from flashing and flickering lights. 2 broken radiators, they turn off in an hour when they reach the temperature set to and should turn back on but they don't and bedroom + bathroom was in minus. We phone them to be told that this is not true, because radiators should be turned back on automatically and that the seizures didn't happen, nor that the light couldn't be broken till Monday when we moved in because no other guests complained or cleaners never reported the issue but the light was definitely pushed in.

An Excellent place

The location is perfect and very close to various stores even african stores. the facility is clean and all amenities you need is present. There was heating, ironing boards, washing machines and well furnished kitchen. The process of acquiring the key was cubersome but reasonable. A wrong code was given to me for the main entrance gate. Luckily my wife was smart enough to figure it out 😊.. Anstey Height is excellent. it was a lovely place to stay.

The key retrieval could have been simpler. lol

The bizarre key policy Felt very chaotic & stressful on arrival. Different key codes to remember . The flat was overly hot & one window was unable to open. Only one budget fan available between 2 rooms. Pieces of furniture broken. Very little soundproofing . Much party noise heard all around. Feels overpriced for what feels like budget student accommodation

Lovely apartment with everything you need, in close proximity to transport, restaurants & the City!

All the amenities and location were really convenient. Easton is a vibrant and culturally rich neighbourhood, perfect for non-UK nationals. Close to the train and bus station, supermarket, gym, restaurants and within walking distance to the city centre.

Cleanliness and some minor maintenance required. Cleaning needs to be more thorough, the microwave was not clean, soiled underwear and nail tips found when the sofa bed was opened, tacky oven, tacky fan, issue with light, chair and coffee table, hair all over the carpets, dust and dirt under furniture. This apartment will definitely tick all the boxes if these aspects are sorted.

good value for money if you like dirt and no sleep

it was somewhere to sleep but that’s about it

every plate, bowl, mug, glass, item of cutlery was dirty so we had to wash everything before we could even use it. windows wouldn’t open more than 1mm and it was boiling hot with no air circulation so we couldn’t sleep at all. the fan provided did absolutely nothing. bed sheets were dirty, mine actually had dried blood on!!!

Nice apartment, but poor area

Had a niece bathroom, comfy beds clean sheets and mattrasses, comfy sofa bed, all apliances in the kitchen you need, specious rooms, tv, wifi, opening windows, secure access, was very quiet at night to.

Poor area, but if you only driving and not planing go for a walk than its ok. Was not enough towels for 4 people, could be some note left that beddings inside sofa, double bed headboard was very dusty, lots of finger marks around switch to bathroom, but was happy that carpet, bathroom, kitchen was clean

Its security features and location to where i needed to be

There was no ventilation- it was very hot in the apartment, we had sleepless nights each night. one fan available wasn’t working well - no power or oscillation. Windows only opened an inch or 2 . 1 window was broken. The bathroom was dirty, built up fluff on the skirting boards around the toilet. The rug in the living room wasn’t clean, loads of bits on it and dirty teaspoons in the cutlery drawer. There was 2 teabags and 2 sachets of coffee and no milk. I was clear there were 2 people staying for 2 nights - surely you could have spared enough for us to have some. We had to go shopping.

A well-equipped apartment with complete household amenities, ideal for guests who wish to cook their own meals. It has one bedroom with two single beds combined into one, and there's a sofa bed in the living room. This apartment unit is located on the third floor. The care taker was very helpful, quick response to any queries

Spacious, private, and beautifully furnished

Loved the space, the furnishings, and the very comfortable bed! I particularly appreciated how secure and private the building felt, and how well sound insulated the apartment was.

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong front door key code, which was a bit stressful when I couldn't get into the apartment, but the staff were helpful when I phoned them. I was also sent the wrong wifi details, which wasn't sorted out even after I messaged about it.

Neat apartment close to the station (10min to city cente)

Very big apartment. Big functional kitchen with dish washer and washing machine. Nice TV. Nice bed with good mattress. You can open the windows the whole way if you figure out the opening system. The shower has good pressure.

Sleeping couch was a bit uncomfortable. There was no linen for it and the bedding was hidden and not prepared even though we booked for 3 people. The kitchen was not properly cleaned, especially the microwave and the fronts of the cupboards. The coffee table for the couch was instable and made it impossible to use. The chairs and the table in the eating area were instable too and uncomfortable to sit in (should not be a problem if you plan to visit the city the whole day and don’t use them). There is no lift! And no drying rack!

Not great

There was a tv, living room, kitchen so a washing machine etc which is useful. The location isn’t great if you’re going into town but we went to Easton punk festival so it was great for that. There was a portable fan which we needed because it was absolutely boiling on the top floor.

The shower was broken and only ran scolding hot so we couldn’t even shower. My partner has showers very hot but even he couldn’t shower because it was a temperature that could burn you. I messaged the staff and they gave me a slightly patronising response “have you tried adjusting the temperature” which obviously we did. We adjusted it as much as we could without breaking it. The tap (drinking) water was warm and wouldn’t run cold which was very annoying especially because the apartment was really hot. I found a cockroach crawling around in the bathroom the day we arrived, we stomped on it and I forgot to take a picture until when we left so it’s not easy to tell what it is but I googled it at the time and it was definitely a cockroach. The double bed was just 2 singles pushed together which was uncomfortable, especially when sharing it with your partner. Finally they took a £150 deposit which I didn’t know about and hadn’t seen on the website until I’d already booked it. I didn’t get the deposit back until about 8 days after they took it.

The bed was very uncomfortable, far too soft and was 2 beds put together which is always a no from me. That said the price was good so it was manageable.

Lovely and convenient stay in Bristol!

The flat we stayed in was very well presented and great facilities! The bedroom had a fan which was great as it was very hot the days we stayed; we were provided with teabags and sugars and all cooking utensils. All the rooms were very clean and we appreciated having the kitchen and living area - much better than staying in a hotel room! The location is very convenient - only a 5 minute walk from a train station that is just 2 stops to Bristol Temple Meads. There are also some nice little pubs and cafes in the surrounding streets near the flat. Also a Tesco and Lidl within driving distance, you can get the train to Lidl as it is one stop away.

We couldn't seem to change the temperature of the shower no matter how hard we tried, so was a bit chilly at times! Also would have loved if there was some cooking oil provided.

Really great - apart from the shower!

We loved the space and light in the apartment, the excellently equipped kitchen, the comfortable bed, sofa, etc. We also enjoyed the location – a short walk to cafes in Easton and to the bike path.

We weren't able to adjust the temperature of the the shower, which was set on scalding hot. Luckily we had a bath tub. But my husband is not really fond of baths. So the shower needs attention.

Accommodation decent but felt unsafe due to intruders in the block

Nice flat. Clean and tidy

The block of flats seemed to mostly be short lets. I was woken up at 5am by a male knocking on my door and saying ‘let me in’. I was a sole female traveler and this was very disturbing. The person then knocked on several other doors in the block. I assume this was drug dealing related activity. The letting agent sent a ridiculous amount of messages and emails for a 2 night stay. Something like 14 different pieces of communication. This meant important information (like the gate code to get out of the grounds!) was missed. WiFi password didn’t work

I was not expecting a ground floor flat ( advertised as with views of the city). The gates to the car park area were broken and remained open during my stay, making having windows open day/night uncomfortable/unsafe. The shower mixer was broken and the water was scorching hot/unusable. I reported the problems but nothing was done. I had to request the codes to get the key out of the lock box and replace it on departure as they were not sent beforehand. Communication: my messages were responded to but no help regarding the problems given. I soon realised that no matter what the issues were, I would have to accept them.

I like the spacing of the flat, beautiful views. close to shops had all the essentials for a flat, just need more kitchen roll.

kitchen wear forks and spoons were dirty and beddings like sheets weren't clean but overall good experience , i would suggest a floor mat for the bathroom as it can get wet and slippery
