Great place to stay in Bayeux

The apartment was very clean and in a fantastic location. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to help us check in earlier than expected. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a lovely little outside area to sit.

We love Bayeux and the surrounding areas. We look forward to returning.

The property was very convenient to everything. It was spacious and well furnished.

The biggest drawback was having one toilet, between 4 adults. We had 2 showers, but only one toilet.

Great location for average height people!

The location of this two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor was absolutely ideal. We were only a short stroll away from the canal, the church, the main shopping district, and the tapestry museum, which is definitely worth a visit! (I know, right? You wouldn't think a museum showcasing just one tapestry could be so impressive, but it is!) The kitchen was well-equipped to meet our needs, though to be honest, we only prepared coffee, tea, wine, beer, and snacks there. I really enjoyed using the kitchen table for work and discussions about our day. The owner was very kind and, despite his limited english, which was much better than our french, he effectively used a translator to provide us with detailed instructions.

We had a guest who stood 6 feet 6 inches tall. There's one toilet outside the two bathrooms, which lack toilets. He couldn't sit down on the toilet and close the door because his knees prevented it. It was quite embarrassing, to put it mildly. We managed, and he took it in stride, but it's definitely something to consider beforehand. Also, his feet dangled off the twin bed. It's a tall person's dilemma, and if you have tall visitors, be aware. I suggest that the owner provides instructions in multiple languages on a laminated sheet left on the table, and simply texts the code for retrieving the key from the lockbox. There's no need to meet at the property.
