Nice place to stay in the heart of Bayeaux

Great location, nice house, new bathrooms and kitchen

The 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds was small with minimal storage. Also no AC- but we knew that!!

A lovely house in a great central location.

It was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. It was nicely unusual and quirky. A lot of thought had gone into the decor. The facilities were generally very good.

We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub didn’t work properly. It wouldn’t heat up warm enough to use. It would have been good to supply a few more basics such as dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid to save having to buy them for a weekend stay.

The property was beautiful and private,location was perfect and the garden and hot tub was such a bonus. We had a great time in Bayeux and if we ever return we would have no hesitation in staying at Maison D’Alice again. 10/10

Great location, extremely spacious and nice hot tub!

Location, space, rooms and facilities were all first rate. I would definitely recommend the maison d’alice for anyone wanting to see the Normandy beaches and the tapestry (before it heads to London!!)

Location and comfortable accommodation in Bayeux

Three bedrooms; two large bathrooms on two different floors. Plenty of room to gather as a family for meals or after dinner conversation. Excellent location for touring D-Day sites.

We couldn’t get the washing machine to work and ended up taking our laundry to a nearby lavarie. Good news: the lavarie was a three-minute walk from the property.

Overnight stay for a cycle tour

Would have been helpful if we had directions on the confirmation as it was difficult to find. Large black door between the shops was not obvious and the No. was high above the door. Accommodation lovely and very central.

Great stay - great town and fantastic accommodation.

Fantastic location, in the heart of Bayeux but tucked away so nice and quiet. It has a great courtyard garden (with real grass), that was a gem to sit out and enjoy a drink in.

Location right in the middle of town near everything.

I had to duck through a low tunnel to enter the property. I also hit my head coming down the stairs from the bedroom to the kitchen. There is only one bathroom inside the house and it doesn’t have and actual shower (just a tub with a long shower handle). The other toilet is outside of the front door next to the washer/dryer. There was no napkins or paper towels for the kitchen.

Lovely property in great location

The property was in an excellent location and had overall good facilities

No shower which was a surprise. The hotel manager next door was extremely rude when I asked him for help late at night.

The location. Excellent, right in the middle of town. Easy walking distance to the Cathedral, tapestry, restaurants, bars etc. There was a big market right across from the house on the Saturday which was interesting. House was very clean and fully equipped. Hot tub was on!

There was only one Bathroom which I knew about which was not really a problem. However, it does not have a proper shower. It is a bath with a hand held shower hose. While we managed, it was a little inconvenient. One of the beds collapsed on the second night which was't great but something can be rectified.

Lovely spacious accommodation. 4 flights might be difficult if not able bodied. Good location. All facilities including washing machine and dryer provided. Near all places of interest. Town centre is quaint.

Local eateries often open. Only one toilet.

A Well Hidden Gem

Everything! Perfect location right on the Market Square. The apartment was comfortable and clean for our four adults and one child stay with plenty of room to play, not to mention a cute little courtyard! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils to include a Nespresso!! I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nothing. But in all seriousness if a person does have difficulty with stairs this is not the place to stay. There are stairs from the kitchen entryway to the living area and then another to the second and third floors.

Formidabel

Netjes, in het centrum (begin van de winkelstraat) maar zeer rustig. Bakker vlak naast de deur. Gezellige restaurantjes op loopafstand aan de kathedraal. Comfortabele bedden, prachtige badkamers -1 tje op elke verdieping - mooie woonkamer en keuken. Leuk tuintje.

Minpuntje als je niet goed te been bent zijn de trappen tussen de verschillende verdiepingen. Wij hebben daar geen hinder van ondervonden maar wil dit toch even meegeven.

Un écrin calme et apaisant au cœur de la ville

TOUT ! L'emplacement idéal au sein de la ville, avec énorme parking gratuit la nuit en face de la maison. proximité commerces et restos Hôte adorable avec de très bons conseils Confort et propreté incontestables Deco superbe et qualité des matériaux Confort literie, linge de toilette, de maison en général Cuisine très bien équipée. Batterie de cuisine et vaisselle en nombre suffisant. Les 3 wc sont un vrai + qd on est nombreux 😉 En résumé : logement parfait ! Nous le conseillons et y reviendrons !!! 😊

Les escaliers a tous les niveaux peuvent être un frein pour des personnes à mobilité réduite, douloureuses ou âgées.
