The property was lovely - with ample interior space to gather.

The coordination for the door access code was a little trying - I guess they don't release the code until a deposit is made, which I thought had been made because I booked with a credit card. I think the language barrier could have contributed a little to this as well.

The cottage is in a fantastic location perfect for exploring the area, including the lovely city of Bayeux. The garden is an absolute delight, and the spectacular view of the dome is a real highlight. We were also very impressed with the beautiful interior design. When we had an issue with the entry code upon arrival, the host was incredibly responsive and resolved the situation for us immediately, which we truly appreciated.

The property was listed as having three bedrooms, but it does not have three separate, private rooms, which we found misleading. Additionally, the third bed was not made up for our arrival. We also encountered significant cleanliness issues, particularly in the kitchen, where many surfaces and most of the dishes were dirty, which deterred us from using it. We also had to clean the patio chairs ourselves and noticed many spider webs throughout the house. Generally, it can be said that it had missed a few spring cleanings, since many items were dusty and dirty. The most concerning issue was finding a mouse in the kitchen, which points to a need for immediate attention to the property's cleanliness and pest control.
