The host was lovely and very communicative. The loft was adorable - also clean, comfortable, and conveniently located.

The location was wonderful, easy walk to everything in Bayeux. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable an the kitchen was clean and had the listed amenities in good working condition. It was quiet and peaceful.

There are a few strange things about this rental that were not clear on the listing and made it less than ideal for a group of friends. We only got one set of keys and you had to physically lock people into the apartment if someone was leaving. At least 2 sets of keys should be available for a group. The second shower is completely glass and is in the middle of a bedroom that people on the top floor have to pass through to get to their room, rendering that shower virtually impossible to use. The top bedroom is up an incredibly skinny spiral staircase that cannot fit a large suitcase. These things just made the property a bit challenging for our group. Perhaps better for a family, though the staircases could be dangerous for kids. Finally, the hosts did not leave enough toilet paper for the time we were there, which I do consider to be a baseline amenity in a vacation rental.

Good location in the town. Parking no problem

Wi-fi out of order which was major inconvenience. No exterior windows, felt cell like. No convenient soap/wash space in shower.
