Le Nest quiet house in city center

Een volledig huis op 600 m van de binnenstad in een zeer rustige buurt. De grote living is in het midden van het huis, links ervan 2 slaapkamers met badkamer en toilet, rechts ook 2 slaapkamers met badkamer en toilet, perfecte privacy als dat nodig moest zijn. Onder het dak is ook nog een leuke zithoek, maar die hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken vanwege de temperatuur op dat moment (hittegolf). Alles modern afgewerkt, nieuwe ramen met elektrische rollen die goed van pas kwamen wegens die heersende hittegolf zodat het binnen nog vrij koel was. Auto kon voor de deur, er was ook een garage, en achter het huis nog een tuin met terrasmeubilair. Supermarktje en bakker op 400 m.

Het verwonderde ons - het was de eerste keer dat we dat tegenkwamen - dat er geen enkele TV in huis was. Voor ons niet direct een probleem, als Vlamingen krijg je toch alleen maar Franse posten te zien, maar toch waren we blij dat er op dat moment geen match was van de Belgen op het WK.

Quiet, practical and v.close to town. Super support from the team. Good WiFi.

Could do with an oven, and the garden mown! Maybe some comfortable garden furniture.

Really clean, spacious house with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Location for us was excellent. Only 10 min walk to the town centre but also very easy to get to by car. Access to highways easy. Bakery and convenience store only 5min walk so really easy to get food and supplies.

The sofas are not very comfortable for a 1.82m man. There were no other big chairs in the house for me to sit in and relax. Beds are quite low with thin mattresses. No shower curtain in the main bathroom, which meant that lots of water escaped onto the floor. This made the tiles extremely slippery, needed to be very careful when moving around afterwards.

Location is excellent. It is really convenient to the town centre and in close driving distance to many places of interest. The size of the house great and there is wonderful garden to relax in. We loved the quietness and peacefulness of the area. It was so relaxing.

It would have been nice to have a few extra towels and pillows. I am not sure is cultural but we are used to have 2 pillows per person on the beds. One towel a person is tight and we could have done with some hand towels. If we had known we would have brought some extra with us.
