Like home from home.

Nice ensuite room, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, very quiet and private, good shared kitchen with everything needed.

Parking was difficult, had to drive around looking for a space, eventually got parked but had to walk in the rain with bags.

Ok for one night

The owner was helpful - giving me an extra blanket and explaining I could leave the free standing radiator on when I was out, as it was very chilly. It was handy for the event I was attending

Although the bathroom is a decent size there's nowhere to hang your towel and the basin is so tiny there's nowhere to put anything! Shower worked but the cable leaks badly just under the unit so less water comes out of the head! Didn't seem to be hot water from basin tap New bath mat needed as it's a trip hazard because it doesn't lie flat! My room was an outbuilding about a metre from the smoking area - probably need to let people know this before they book!

Lovely rooms, nice location, very friendly helpful staff, nice kitchen with everything needed, safe and secure, lovely comfortable bed, great value for money, will definitely stay again.

Beck House

Everything. Stuck in a garden annexe with a smoking area outside the door which isnt on the description. The room was heated by a plug in radiator which took 4 hours to produce heat. The wall heater was broken. Exrension leads to power other elec. No heater in the bathroom. No toiletries, despite me checking, only a dirty soap bottle. Skirting boards were dirty. Shower chair was a pile of rust. No warning about dsngerously hot scalding water. Smell of damp/ mould throughout. Was glad to arrive late and leave early. Impossibke to see and use 3 locks without any exterior lights on lockbox and over doors. Did not feel safe as a solo female. Had to cover door window for privacy and security.

Liked the outside of the main house room which was comfortable. Use of kitchen facilities although only used fridge. Very smart and convenient location.

Room and bathroom was a little shabby but comfortable enough. Finding a parking space was a bit tough.

There was mould and rust on the accesible shower and the towel had a huge hole on it. The room was dusty with cub webs. Absolutely shocking state

Lovely little apartment, plenty of room for 2 of us and a dog. Comfortable bed, large TV, tea/coffee, private bathroom. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Once I had mastered the access requirements, the visit was pleasant, and the room was comfortable.

The location was convenient for me but parking was not easy.

I had problems accessing the property as the owners were not on site, This was eventually resolved via a phone call but communication was not easy.

It was a bit damp in the bedroom. Probably needs a better shower curtain to stop water getting onto the bathroom floor.

Stayed one night during Magic Wknd to avoid city centre hotel inflated prices. It did the job.

Adequate accommodation. Clean, basic but fine. Location was as expected with shop and pub across the road. Taxi around £15 to city centre. Tea and coffee in room. Wi-fi wasn’t working so TV didn’t work. Good mobile signal so did not matter for short stay. Owner not resident so key safe used to access, so ensure you have agreed arrival with owner in advance.
