Lovely clean and well looked after property. We were in the small annex at the back which was ideal. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy, shower was great and there was a lovely little courtyard at the back you could sit in if the weathers nice (it was for our stay). The host was amazing and friendly and super funny… an absolute character! He made the best breakfasts and made everyone feel welcome…. Children and adults alike.

Very friendly welcome. The room was nice with en suite. All very clean. Hosts very helpful. Good public transport links to Sunderland etc. Nice breakfast, served early as a special favour and without complaint. Very nice

Super friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Informative about the local area. Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, fridge, kettle. Freshly cooked breakfast, cereals, toast, fruit juices,. Good location for the town centre, 15 minute easy walk to the sea front, parks, fair, playgrounds. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. On a bus route if needed. This place is a hidden gem, will definitely return.
Parking dependant on spaces down a side street, other streets permit-only.

The location was ok for us .
Bed was very flimsy, slats kept coming off. Owner was accommodating but yet a bit full on and kind of strange, maybe needs toning down a fraction. The room was clean and tidy and breakfast offered was a bonus!
