Cozy Up Spain

The apartment was great, with more open space than it appears on the photographs. Sofa and beds were comfy and plenty of natural light. Everything was super clean and tidy when we arrived and the number code entry worked very well. The hosts, Mercedes and Javier were great throughout our stay - brilliant communication, and very helpful, making certain that everything was in order. The apartment is less than ten minutes from the Campanar Metro which was great for us. There was a supermarket on the way as well, so no problem with getting supplies. The entry was secure, the shower was hot and the kitchen has all the cutlery and crockery we needed for 2 and would have worked for up to 4 people easily. The hosts provided some recommendations for restaurants and nightlife and gave us all the information we required when a storm warning was issued for the area - keeping in touch to make sure we didn't get stuck at the airport. It was a really good example of positive proactive communication that was consitent through our stay.

No issues at all with our stay, everything was really great. One thing to be aware of was the mandatory tourism registration and direct payment that is required. You will deal with this directly with the apartment. They provide a secure link to a validated https website to complete your details. I took some time to check this out before proceeding. It worked smoothly and was confirmed within the day by the hosts. I was comfortable with the process.
