Very disappointed!

The dust covers the unremarkable places, like bathroom. The unstable water temperature and WiFi made us very annoyed.When texted to the landlord no one answered. Last but not least the kettle was broken, they even not checked before new guests moved in!

Uncomfortable Experience Due to Incorrect Room and No Staff Available

We had specifically booked a different room without a glass-walled bathroom, as we are not that close with my friend. For some reason, we were given another room instead with transparent glass-walled bathroom. There was no one at the reception, and after a long trip we didn’t have the energy to sort it out, so we had to stay in the room we were given. Our stay was nearly perfect until the moment after check-out. We accidentally left a bag with gifts and books in the room. We wrote to the hotel via chat right away, but received no response. We decided to return on our own and found that the housekeeper had already thrown the books into the general trash (they had gotten wet and were ruined), and the bag with small gifts was set aside as if she intended to keep it. Only about two hours had passed since our check-out, so the situation left a very unpleasant impression. We would appreciate more attention to guests and their forgotten belongings. as well as accuracy with room assignments.

No hot water ruined what would have been a perfect stay

Beautiful place, great design, wonderful location. The mezzanine was perfect for our children.

No hot water throughout our stay really ruined the experience for us. The host suggesting it was our lack of ability to turn on hot taps and that there definitely was hot water was irritating and rude (we work in construction and are well qualified on how to run a hot bath!) Also the bedside lights didn't work (they flashed like a strobe light so it wasn't possible to read once the children were in bed)

The accommodation was lovely, modern and clean. The location was perfect. It was a little confusing to understand the access codes into the building and then into the residence. It would be good if you could be clear that it is located on the first floor up the stairs. Overall it was a lovely stay

Considering this was on booking.com, I expected proper communication from the property staff. Issues: This is an AirBnB on booking.com with self everything and delayed response from the host. It added lot of anxiety as we were traveling international and expected better service. -Bathroom door was transparent glass. - Minimal toiletries despite requesting it

It was a terrible stay!!!

Just location

The air conditioning system is inadequate and works incredibly loudly, there is no fire system in the building or in the room. The walls of the room were extremely moldy and triggered our allergies. I could not reach any authorized person, they did not even return my calls. They once put half a liter of water in the room, we had to go and look for water at night. And worst of all, we hunted spiders in the room.

Disappointed

The bed was large and comfy

There was no one to greet us on arrival, the room had no natural light, the balcony/terrace was so disappointing, there was no view and overlooked by other rooms. The bathroom was glass, there was no privacy. The room was not clean, glass had lipstick on it, the toilet was broken. The air-con was loud, and not very effective. There was no one on reception when we left to pay the tourist tax. And to date I have still not had any response to my messages of concern. Soo disappointed in our stay given how much we paid.

Worse place I’ve stayed in ever

Location is decent. That’s about the only thing this place has going for it.

Don't do it, you will regret it, especially in the summer heat of Florence. Long story short, the AC was not working in the room, it was like a sauna in there, so asked the property manager to kindly check and see if there was any issues. The property manager is the dodgiest one I have ever dealt with. Never in all of my travels, has the property manager lied so blatantly about something, and then tried to play it off / call me the “worst guest ever” for asking why the AC wasn’t working. For 2 consecutive days he continued to be adamant that the AC was working all good and that I was wrong, then on the 3rd day finally sent a staff to check the AC in the room, and guess what, it wasn’t working. Still wasn’t able to fix it though. So during our 4 day stay here, we were sweating and hotter inside the room, that wasnt cheap, than on the streets of Florence. Furthermore, it seems the AC issue have been ongoing since atleast 2023 ( i went back and checked some reviews that mention the AC issues). So the property manager knew about the issues but is more than happy to lie and mislead guests. Absolutely unprofessional communication as well, replying to my messages of inquiry of AC fix around midnight and 4am. Initially offered a refund as well due to the inconvenience and lack of AC but then immediately backtracked. Joke of an establishment. There are plenty of other places around the same area, for around the same price that will likely be better than this spot.

Beautiful room in excellent location

The room was beautiful! The location was excellent. We were able to walk our entire stay until our taxi back to the train station. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The loft area got very warm and the A/C was not working. Because of the amazing location, it did have a lot of people outside so opening the windows created a lot of noise (plus early starting construction nearby).

It was relatively hot in Florence during out stay in Florence. But the centralized aircon of the units didn't work or didn't make the rooms any cooler. I requested the attendant to have this adjust when we arrived and also messaged here on booking.com but still thru air-conditioning situation remained the same.

the location is 🔝 —- a couple of blocks from the Duomo, stores, bars and restos—- room’s well illuminated.. big windows.

the location is 🔝 —- a couple of blocks from the Duomo, stores, bars and restos—- room’s well illuminated.. big windows.. comfy beds, pillows, bathrobes and lots of extra towels, shower water pressure is great, wifi’s strong😉. i particularly adore the lights on the stairs steps 🤣 the staff “Gio” or “john” is nice enough to cater our needs an of hour before our check out. (we had to leave our luggages in his care while we eat and walk a little bit more around the city center) yeah! he’s trustworthy. it was a pleasant stay and i can say the price is reasonable for the room and services.

we were 4 adults and maybe they overlooked it.. we lack a couple pair of slippers which in return were compensated by a decent breakfast at eataly. 😉🙌🏼 that was handled very well by the staff. we had a rather unevitable exchange of messages to clarify a couple of things that wasn’t clear enough like the name of the parking garage which happens to be 2 different garages on the same street ——- the property is affiliated with park&go garage so if you happen to stay with them… enter the park&go garage 😅 obviously we took another garage and paid 41€ instead of 35-36€ if im not mistaken. another is the pin for check in. the procedure for the door pins wasn’t explained clear enough so my sister and i had to reenter 3 times the first set of pin before finally entering the correct pin. (there are 2 sets of pin numbers —— id say if you get the wrong combination at first it’s not because the pin isn’t working.. just enter the second set of pin numbers and if that works.. well the unaccepted set of pin number is for the second door entrance 😉) lastly… there were flies (2) and mosquitos (2-3)in the room.. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe it’s because of the spring weather? i don’t know. but either way.. this can be avoided. there’s room for improvement.. but overall.. our short stay was good enough. should i go back? hmm yes. 😁 price per se was justified by the services and location.

Hotel perfetto per soggiorno a Firenze

La struttura è in un palazzo d’epoca ristrutturato a pochi passi dal Duomo di Santa Maria del Fiore. Posizione quindi centralissima. La nostra stanza (quella con vasca) era davvero stupenda e pulita, con tutti i comfort (calici da vino e apri bottiglie, acqua). Self check-in e check-out molto comodo e assistenza telefonica efficiente. Personale gentile. Bagno spaziosissimo e bella sia la vasca in stanza che la grande doccia walk-in nel bagno.

Tutto perfetto. Unica nota, giusto per informazione, la struttura non ha un parcheggio e non ha convenzioni con parcheggi in centro. Trattandosi del centro storico i parcheggi (se siete in auto) sono a pagamento. Noi abbiamo usufruito del parcheggio Michelangelo a 3 min a piedi dalla struttura per un costo di 41 euro al giorno (pensano anche loro al permesso ZTL per la macchina).

Le camere sono veramente belle il problema è che noi non avevamo una finestra da poter aprire, nemmeno in bagno. È presente solo un gran finestrone, che si trova davanti alla vasca in camera e affaccia in un terrazzino che però è di un altra camera, in breve ci siamo ritrovati gli ospiti dell’altra camera davanti alla nostra vasca! Consiglio di mettere un altro specchio in camera!
