The location of the hotel was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. The breakfast was sufficient but served in a beautiful setting. The lift was really useful with lots of bags and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful.
Not the hotels fault but another guest sneezed and coughed all over the uncovered breakfast items (and now one of my group is sick). The bathroom set up in our suite wasn't really suitable for 3 people sharing as the shower offered no privacy (a glass door opening into the bedroom).

The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The history and the building itself are beautiful. Location is exceptional as well. The bed was comfortable and the room stayed cool(which was a miracle during an extreme heatwave). Breakfast was lovely every morning, and snacks were provided later in the day. This was the most beautiful stay we had during our entire trip to Italy.
Only slightly difficult to find.

The hotel is very authentic. The location is simply incredible — right on the main square. The room perfectly matched the atmosphere and mood of our trip.
The breakfasts were exquisite, and the lovely lady who helped serve them added a special charm and elegance to the whole experience.

the staff particularly Luca were exceptionally attentive and helpful. we had a very lovely greeting and they went the extra mile when they heard it was our 40th wedding anniversary! the olde world charm of the building and decor was lovely and as expected.
it was incredibly noisy at night. we could hear groups of party goers rampaging up and down the streets until 2-3am. our fault really as it is such a central location so it has its benefits and drawbacks
