Location and comfortable bed
Room cold - eventually discovered boiler was turned right down. No check in staff and apart from one nice guy doing breakfast never saw anyone. Not really a Palace either - bit oversold with photos of the palace opposite not being the hotel!

Great central location - in between the Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. Lovely room with very high ceilings, full bookshelves and comfy bed. Characterful town house with nice breakfast. Clean and well appointed.
A little noisy on a Saturday night but the windows were pretty sound proof. Would have loved a bath!

The location is so close to everything. Right in the heart of the city and walking distance to the top attractions.
It was also peaceful and quiet, considering the amount of people in the city at peak holiday time.
The shower is quite difficult to get in and out of. Not recommended for people who are not 100% stable on their feet.
Initially a little hard to find the entrance. The local restaurant helped us and said it's quite a common occurrence. Would recommended a small street map as Google maps is not that accurate.
