Beautifully curated space, right in the heart of Como and with view on the Duomo. The check-in worked flawlessly. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly, and we hope to come back soon.

Sehr sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt, toller Blick auf den Dom, Parkplätze in der Nähe, außergewöhnlich schöne Wohnung mit toller kleiner Dachterrasse!!!

I rarely write negative reviews, but this time I feel I should. After visiting Como every year for the last 5 years, this was probably the worst accommodation experience we have had. A few days before arrival, you receive a long contract that mainly protects the host and contains an extensive list of fines. There are penalties for almost everything, creating the feeling that in these apartments you are only allowed to quietly sleep and leave. Fines apply for noise, incorrect waste sorting (there are 3 bins inside the apartment and 3 more on the staircase), using the window shutters incorrectly (because wind damage could result in penalties), stains or damage on towels, and even unwashed dishes. The contract is largely a list of €20–300 penalties, which creates a stressful atmosphere before you even arrive. The worst part is that you learn about this contract only shortly before check-in, when free cancellation is no longer possible. If I had known about these conditions in advance, I would never have booked this place. But at that stage, signing the contract is not really a choice anymore. In my opinion, this is misleading. The apartment itself is located on the top floor of an old building with no elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage upstairs — while also remembering the strict noise rules for the staircase. The apartment is large and spacious. The kitchen has a dishwasher, necessary appliances, and enough equipment. However, because of the constant reminders about fines and possible charges, we barely wanted to use it. We were 5 people, and for that number, one bathroom is simply not enough, especially when the shower and toilet are combined in one room. Mornings and evenings involved queues. The bathroom is also in poor condition and needs maintenance. The faucets should be replaced. The shower mixer was not functioning properly, and because of all the penalties mentioned in the contract, we immediately reported it to avoid being blamed later.
