Central location, decent place
Host was friendly, the location is good. Very central, and close to several amenities such as supermarket, restaurants, laundromat etc. The apartment itself features everything you need for your stay.
It's situated above a Thai restaurant. I like Thai food, but as the place does not have air conditioning you'll want to leave the windows open, resulting in your place smelling like Thai food. The apartment itself technically has everything you need, though its interior feels a bit outdated. Feels like this place is perfectly suited for those who will be out and about exploring the city, but maybe a bit less if you're planning to also be inside often eg for work.

Good place to stay
The location was great: walking distance from the city center, lots of restaurants around, a supermarket open till midnight just across the street. The apartment was quiet, no noise from neighbors or from the street. There was a kitchen but we didn’t really use it with so many restaurants nearby. Our host was very welcoming and answered all messages instantly.
The only inconvenience was the bathroom. You can only enter it through the bedroom, and the folks sleeping in the living room were walking back and forth all the time. But we stayed only 2 nights so it was not a big deal.

Very good
Dietmar is a very gentle host. He gave us all the instructions and assistance necessary to make our stay safe and confortable. The accommodation is very large and offered good structure for 4 people in there. We prepared and did our Christmas dinner in the apartment and everything we needed were there. The apartmentment is located 3 min walking to the metro station.
Cleaning could be better.

Schöne Unterkunft im Zentrum von Köln, es gab sonst nichts zu beanstanden .
Sauber und ordentlich, gute Lage, guter Check In Ablauf und guter Kontakt zum Eigentümer.
Bisschen Geschirr war schmutzig bzw beschäftigt , war aber verkraftbar.
