Just perfect for two people - we had a lovely relaxing stay there
Very attractive modern interior
Perfect for parking off the road
Quiet, attractive location
Radiators (on timer) near bed kept the bedroom warm
Electric heater most welcome in the evenings
Co op supermarket very close (up steep hill)
The owners were very helpful in communicating with us before our stay
Laxey is a convenient base for touring the island - also good location for electric trams and buses into Douglas

We did have trouble finding the location as our SATNAV didn’t work on the island and Laxey was much bigger than we imagined. We should have done more homework before we arrived, but the photo on the website showed us what we were looking for!

The location is good, near to local amenities and on the route to the beach. Being close to the tram station is a real bonus. The cottage is cozy for a couple, but tight for numbers above that.
Unfortunately, the cottage was always in the shade despite it being mid summer, hot and clear skies. Annoyingly the guests in the neighbouring cottage smoked outside our window. Something easy to correct, so probably not in going.
No meaningful outdoor space.
