Perfect getaway!

Great location, clean and fresh. Great communication with the owners who are so friendly and we had a really comfortable stay!

Clean and tidy, but no sun.

The location is good, near to local amenities and on the route to the beach. Being close to the tram station is a real bonus. The cottage is cozy for a couple, but tight for numbers above that.

Unfortunately, the cottage was always in the shade despite it being mid summer, hot and clear skies. Annoyingly the guests in the neighbouring cottage smoked outside our window. Something easy to correct, so probably not in going. No meaningful outdoor space.

The location was close to all the attractions of Laxey; the Wheel, Snaefell, the beach and the pubs and eateries near by! Very quaint cottage with a very welcoming Host!

Cottage for 2

Location was fantastic, kitchen bright and airy. Good facilities in kitchen. Parking good.

Bed creeked everything you turned. The mattress was too soft so it hugged your body too much so you couldn't move. The chairs out the back were in a very small space which was slippery due to the green moss off the plants. There was nowhere to sit out at night. The stairs going upstairs are very steep. If you turn a light on at night there are black (looks like flying ants) insects over the bed attracted by the light. The sofa is quite uncomfortable and there are no armrests on it. The cottage is very clean but it can smell of wet plaster due to the back wall.

Delightful cottage in a charming village. The kitchen and cooking items/utensils were excellent. A really comfy and enjoyable stay.

Perfect little spot

Super comfortable, cosy home in perfect location to explore the area. I could walk along the river to the beach in about 15 minutes! I also found it very handy to have Co-op 2 minute walk away.

The perfect peaceful retreat to get away from all life’s niggles

The Cottage is a fantastic property. Lovely and peaceful. A real cosy retreat, nicely private with handy outdoor space. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Stephen and Naomi, friendly and professional. The decorated Christmas tree was a lovely thought that was uplifting after our challenging crossing

Location is good for exploring Laxey and for proximity to tram and electric rail stations. Interior is comfortable, clean and decorated to enhance the light.

Great little place in a beautiful location near to everything Laxey has to offer while still feeling quiet and private.

Lovely location in Laxey and everything was perfectly comfortable and well thought out.

It was all lovely - a few more mugs and plates would have been good but a very minor criticism
