"The Apartment that turned out not to be one apartment".
The location was really good, to be honest.
To start by some point, it is not a full, entire and private apartment, as announced. Instead of that is the second floor of a family house shared with them. The accommodation we booked was advertised as a “Private Entire Apartment with 3 Bedrooms” (attached is a screenshot from the platform itself). However, upon our arrival on the night of Friday, February 21st, we discovered that the listing was misleading. Instead of a private apartment, it turned out to be a family-occupied house, where only the second floor was made available to guests.There were no physical separations, locks, or any measures to ensure privacy. The rooms were the family’s own bedrooms, filled with personal belongings and not at all prepared to host guests. The condition of the property matched the attached photos: cluttered with the residents’ belongings and dirty—particularly the bathroom. Faced with this clear case of misrepresentation between what was booked (a private apartment) and what we found (a shared family home), we left the property immediately and looked for alternative accommodation nearby in Brussels.
