Great location and staff, but comfort could be improved.

The location of the property was great, surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, and beautiful parks. The place was clean, and the staff were very approachable. On the first day, the towels we received had a few stains, but once we informed the staff, they replaced them immediately.

What we didn’t like were the beds and bedding. The mattresses were extremely soft—you would sink in as soon as you sat down. While the bedding itself was clean, the blanket and pillows underneath had visible yellow stains. Additionally, the accommodation had a damp, basement-like smell, which we believe was due to it being underground and affected by humidity.

Great convenient location

Location was excellent - right next to the European parliament, a good selection of restaurants nearby, a few minutes walk to the metro and to a Carrefour Express. We really appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine - easy enough to grab a few things from the supermarket and self cater. The hosts were warm and responsive, they also provided us with a porta-cot for our toddler which was much appreciated.

Unfortunately I kept on hitting my head on the doorframe going down to the basement. No windows as already described in the ad. The building was rustic but has its own kind of charm.

An excellent apartment for the location and price - dale!

The location is truly excellent, in a beautiful and charming neighborhood. The apartment is cozy and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Just as a friendly note and with the best intentions: the coffee machine and kettle were not clean and didn’t seem to be regularly maintained. A bit more attention to this would make the experience even better.

Pleasant

Room is in the basement and smells. It's pretty small. We did not feel entirely safe there. Worst stay of our two week holidays.

The location is close to the EU institutions, and only 5 mins from the center square of Brussels by metro underground. Very good. It is also located 3mins from a bus station, and 6 mins from the metro Schuman metro and train station. Excellent. We had room 2, a double room with private bathroom and WC. Everything was brand new, as of 14.07.2023. Modern decoration and facilities, good bed.

Not major points, but worth a mention for some : the room is located in a semi basement. There still is a window with view on the inner garden, but the stairs downwards with luggage might be a little challenge for the elderly people with heavy luggage. The second minor point is that the insonorisation could be better. It's not that you can hear other guests speak, unless they are loud, but it's not silent nether. We didn't hear any traffic noise from the street though.

Relatively good location. It’s more like an Airbnb. There’s a shared Kitchen with coffee machine.

The room is in the basement of a residential building. The instruction for picking up the keys were unclear. We had to take multiple keys from a locker to open multiple doors leading to be basement. We couldn’t figure out which room to go and accidentally went into a room what was super messy and have stuffs all around the floor. It was almost a bit scary but eventually we found the room in the basement. The building and room are both quite Old. The TV didn’t Work and wifi signal was weak.

Superb

Both the owners and operators of the facility are pleasant and nice people. Room was quite big, new, modern and everything was clean. Bathroom was excellent. Complimentary coffee and fruits were appreciated. Location is perfect if you have a meeting in EU institutions.

Place/location is a busy one, but after 11 pm even this part of the city were quiet enough.

Perfect for women travelling alone.

The guesthouse is run by a really lovely family who live on-site. It made the stay feel extremely safe and they were very flexible and helpful. The local neighbourhood is also very safe.

Comfortable and easy

The location was really nice, very close walking to Schumann station, and with may different places to eat or drink something (and a beautiful park nearby)

The room was a ground floor with no outside windows, but since I used it only to rest and sleep at night it was ok. If you're planning on spending lot of time in the room, then it's better not.

Perfect catch if you look for a reasonably priced place in the quartier européen.

Excellent value for money! Perfectly located right next to Square Ambiorix, 2 minutes by foot from Schuman. Sara is a very responsive and lovely host! Smooth and easy remote check-in, very spacious and clean room! Wifi works perfectly.

The Basement suite is a bit darkish

Clear and detailed explanation on how to get to the premises from the owners. Excellent surrounding for those who come for European Comission issues.

It is worth to arrange some renovation at kitchen and to do something with outer door. I could hardly open it.

Property is in nice locality and is near by to bus stops. Also the owner were quiet quick in response.

The house and everything in it is quiet old . probably a little renovation is required. Also washroom and living room were quiet smelly . Also Mattress was quiet uncomfortable.

Wasn't the cleanest bathroom and the lock/door was broken, plus there wasn't much daylight inside.

A flat for a family in the center

Very quick host response. You can address any question. I was instructed on parking hours , parking is free on Sunday and Monday morning (for precise/accurate hours check it yourself ) There were five of us in stead of four, a host has quickly arranged a place to sleep.

A mattress in a living room could have been more comfy.
