Pictures do not do justice

The stairs where too narrow and unstable, the location was different as stated in the Listing. The room smelled extreme of cleaning supplies when entering. The welcome basket was a bunch of plastic stuff.

Enough for one night stay, but only if you come late.

Surprises: cookies (even if they taste horrible -- too sweet) and the basic personal hygene items.

The room was too small and I knocked my head because of room hight. The walking space was like 1.5sqm only. One more thing related to the door knob which made loud noise. This should have been an issue, but when 2-4 times per night people open and close the door, it became annoying limiting the sleep comfort.

Nothing. Too cramped.

The host. The Chinese guy is rude and not accommodative at all. He is loud and insensitive. For the first time i have come across such a host throughout my stays in different countries. He was proud of intimidating his guests and showed zero maturity.

Agréable.

I did not expect to like it because it’s small but very compact and it has everything. So if you are in the city and looking for something small where you can sleep and you know you’re gonna spend a lot of time outside it’s a absolute must.

Good

- The location is definitely one of its biggest perks. - The staff and owner were also really friendly. The owner also responds quickly which I really appreciated. - The free cookies and the amenity kit were also a lovely and rare perk, especially nowadays where every accomodation skimps on it.

- The room was pretty small. I couldn't judge from the pictures but it seemed quite a bit larger when I booked it. - It was really hot and uncomfortable in the room. I booked a roof top room and the heat gets trapped easily there. I opened up the roof top window and while it did provide a somewhat nice breeze, I couldn't open it for long as it was raining that day, which obviously isn't the accomodation's fault but it's something to keep in mind during the summer months. There was a fan provided, which I did appreciate, but I didn't get a decent amount of sleep due to that heat. Some type of mobile airconditioning with the hose going through the window could resolve this. - There's no elevator so if you're wheelchair-bound or elderly this might not be the place for your unless there's a room on the ground floor.

I appreciate that they really care about their clients as reflected in their anticipation of the simple things (but important nonetheless) that the guests would need (like socks, toiletries, etc.), which is not anymore available in regular hotels. The ambiance & lighting were fantastic and its proximity to most attractions.

If you are okay to walk 10-15 mins to city center, then this is the best place you can stay

Our host was very generous to us. We booked 2 rooms and he helped us to stay in the same floor. He prepared great waffles, candys and we had our breakfast with these. Location was good, you don’t need to use any public transportation. Common room is so pretty, there are to much more details to talk about. We also liked the decoration and he clearly spent a lot of time on it.

Nice and comfortable place to feel at home on holiday

Very nice, clean and centered place, 10 minutes walking from many attractions. The shared bathroom was clean and equipped with all necessities. The host was kind and helpful, and was very much appreciated the snacks and the opportunity to have hot tea to warm up from the cold outside. Absolutely recommended!

The only note to bear in mind is the presence of many stairs to access the floors. For us, they were not a problem at all, but I imagine that people with difficulties might find them uncomfortable.

Snacks available for breakfast. Comfy rooms and spaces. You share a bathroom only with your floor (2 rooms per floor) so is like you have a private bathroom!

They are not friendly, and they don’t help for anything. Even we ask keep our bag for 1 hours, they didn’t. And we said there to woman close door, we have not bags, she didn’t do . And hotel write us bad message. If someone want book this hotel, first think. They are not friendly. We chek in very late, but they didn’t let us keep bag.

It is a very clean accomodation, and Benny gives exceptional attention to the guests. We didn't expect the nice presents, the snacks bar, and the good tips to enjoy the city. They were useful and thoughtful. The location was also great.

I didn't like something that can't be controlled by the host: the noise isolaton. Even though, Benny provided us with earplugs for the noise and it helped :).
