Location.
Service was bad. We were given one toilet roll for 4 days. Shower had no door now the floor was wet mind you there is no mops available contacted the number I was provided and they told me to ask a housekeeper the following day.

- the bathroom door had a damage in it, the shower water ran outside the shower area and flooded the entire bathroom, the shower towels provided were such low quality that they flaked off when wiping myself, I had to get a towel.
- The room had no place to put your clothes, had to live out of my bag for five days
- The housekeeping service was terrible, came into the place and took out the trash but didn’t even change towels
- The tv was smaller than most laptop screens
- The places echos because it’s so empty

Everything, I had to use my data to watch YouTube and download Netflix because nothing on the TV was working. The door kept banging so I couldn’t sleep properly. The way they designed the bathroom is terrible because I barely could get out the bathroom.

Nothing because I didn’t stay there when we wanted to checkin they dubbed us and gave me 1 dirty apartment that was full of cockroaches, the linen was smelling, dirty and spoiled.
Everything, customer service was the worst in this world. We never accepted to checkin as we had booked 2 apartments and we were given 1 studio. And when i asked to check the room what we saw was disappointing and disgusting. 🤮 cockroaches, dirty and spoiled linen.

I liked that the location was near to Woodstock mainroad to get to a shop easily. I liked how spacious the room was and how clean linen was..i liked the fact that you can braai and have a swim in the pool and I liked the fact that you get emailed the codes to enter the premises and you get emailed on where your keys are.. The security is great.
I didn't take a swim in the pool because it was obviously dirty of the guests and the dirt blowing outside.. I ddnt like that there was no parking for our vehicle when I called in befre arrival so we had to park it at home and take an uber there..I would like them to have a fan in the room for hot days. Nd I ddnt like thst we ddnt have a mop in the room for the bathroom because the water n shower is in one n there's nothing thst stops the water from running out the bathroom door n flooding the bathroom.

On pictures on bookings.com were good but in reality the establishment was misrepresented and misleading we were looking for parking their facility had only two parking which left us without parking we had to cancel our booking with them before we check in but they sent a suspicious Nigerian men driving Toyota Etios asking us to follow him to better facility they own with parking we asked them if they can send us the link for the facility if is on bookings.com but they didn’t send it to date but insisted we come to their other establishment we became suspicious and feeling unsafe we then called bookings.com to cancel our booking but even today we have not received our refund
Woodstock area was unsafe and the person on the phone was not professional at all trying to convince us to come where they are we refused after two hours we then booked with AirBnB. We can not follow people we prefer using booking app which my son has access to if we are invited in an establishment that is not on bookings.com and we didn’t not book our family member wouldn’t be able to track us is not safe @bookings.com please refund our money

Very noisy room with weird clicking noises. Absolutely shocking check in process. We were required to submit a lot of online info and then asked to call them to get check in info. When we called they did not answer the phone for quite some time, took us ages to get a hold of them. We ended up being told we had not booked the accommodation we booked and then was placed in an entirely different location. Also absolutely ridiculous that they require you to review them 10/10 before being able to receive a 5% discount on buying the usually free coffee powders and teas provided in the room. Never have needed to pay for this. And the ridiculous bribery to review. Who are these people!??

There’s not even a single thing I liked about that place.
Their service is very bad. I had an awful experience 💔 we struggled to get inside the premises and it wasn’t safe around the area. We waited for 20 minutes until they gave us a pin to get inside. The were no parking for our car we had to go to the head off to park there and use our money to request to the BnB. We had no WiFi which was the most frustrating part on our journey. We couldn’t access anything at all. We reported the issue and they didn’t do anything about it. Not even an apology. I highly do not recommend it. The room was licking inside there were water under the bed not knowing where did it come from and it was dirty under their little cupboard. They said there’s a wardrobe for our clothes on their site and that was a lie. There’s a lot they lied about on the website that’s not available there

It was completely ill-equipped. 1 plastic cup, 1 plastic champaign flute, 2 tiny coffee cups, no bed side lamps, no milk, not a tea spoon in sight, 2 knives and a spoon (no fork,), only hint that two people were staying is two bath towels. No spare toilet roll, no towel rails, no hand towel, no gate remote to park on site as advertised, no shower caddy, the hardest mattress, the thinnest pillows, the thinnest duvet. Oh, and the bathroom door is a joke.

When we arrived at 3pm the cleaning lady wasn’t done cleaning our unit and we had to wait 45 min for them to complete plus including another 30min waiting for the wet floor to dry, we were supposed to check in at 3pm but only checked in past 4 to 5. On the website in booking.com it states that there is a braai section for us to braai and make use of, but when we arrived we were told there is no braai, I even made a phone call before hand to confirm if I needed to bring my own wood and coals and we brought that along as unessacary knowledge because we were given false information on the booking site. Our foods that needed to stay frozen went off and melted, the fridge provided couldn’t hold the capacity of the amount of meats we were going to make us for lunch and supper, we could not make use of the meats and foods that went off in the fridge. This is unacceptable because if we were not given false information we would have avoided bringing so many times that went to waste and carry so much luggage. There was also a random guy that kept patrolling infront of our unit which was very suspicious we caught him twice and asked him what he was doing, there was no security guard at the time. My partner and I would like to have a refund or some sort of compensation for the inconvenience the place has caused us.

I liked the colour of the walls in the apartment
I reached the property at 3 pm, as check-in commenced at that time. Instead of being efficient and ready, they kept me waiting outside for three hours before assigning me an apartment, despite my having settled the payment that same morning. After three hours of lingering outside, I felt I was pleading for entry, even though payment was complete. Access was delayed due to staff being occupied. My partner and I eventually gained entry, only to discover the apartment hadn't been cleaned; the cleaning staff departed twenty minutes prior. The lack of hygiene was immediately apparent. To compound matters, a significant disturbance erupted outside during the night due to a theft from a neighboring apartment. The irate neighbors' commotion, lasting from 9 am to 3 am, prevented any restful sleep. The entire experience was dreadful; I honestly wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. Their lack of organization is appalling.

The room smelled so bad that I could not even sleep I had to open the windows. Sadly I did not even use the bathroom it was like dead body was there. A horrible condition for someone to stay there.
I even talked to the lady and asked maybe to change rooms or go to different City Club but she was not helpful. I even asked what is the process for this she just did not care.

Firstly I was told to send my ID and complete registration before my check in and after doing so I would receive check in instructions, I sent my ID and completed registration at 12pm, I sent a follow up on the WhatsApp number asking about the instructions and on the booking.com message system and no response, I got to the place and I still had no check in instructions, I had to call them to get the instructions while I stood outside in the rain.
Got to the place I struggled to open the door cause the key wasn't working, finally managed to open it and I get into the place there's mold on the ceiling, there's no cups to have coffee out of, the glasses are plastic and where dirty, there weren't forks, the bed sheet was dirty and broken, I sent a video to the WhatsApp number of the bedding, I also requested for secured parking when I made the booking and the day before I asked again about the parking as I would need it, I had to call them again to find out about how to get access to the parking, whene my partner arrived we drove to the main building to get the remote for the gate, I also left all my thing in the room with the door unlocked cause the key wouldnt lock, I had to take the key back and then they saw that they gave me a spare key, we did not even stay our full stay and we checked out the next day immediately. I tried calling again cause the second key that I was given also would not lock the door snd sfter an hour of struggling we were finally able to lock the door. And the bathroom door could not close, when ever we tried it would scrape against the floor and get stuck

It states they have secure parking and they don't. Had to park opposite the road in an open parking lot.
When calling for assistance before checking in the evening no answer via WhatsApp or phone call.

There were no breakfast served , and I was even told my room wasn't earmarked to be cleaned. The duvet is paper thin and the room ice cold and I request another blanket but was told they don't have. The shower is a slipping risk which could cause serious injuries.

Staring with good points: it was quiet, fantastic location, really friendly neighbours and the pool was excellent. Bad: we had to wait at the pool till 3:30pm to be allowed in because the cleaner was waiting for the bedding. It was delivered and she put it on, only for us to sit on the bed and find out it was still wet and the sheets were stained. We were left one toilet roll for a three day two night stay and asked one cleaner where we could replenish and she said she didn’t have anything on her, so we headed to a shop to buy some. We also had to buy stuff to do dishes with as we were only left a sponge. Ending on a good note again, the shower was excellent.

What we got is not what we received. On the website and app, the room description says: 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom, and 1 bathroom with a shower with a garden view. We walked into a studio apartment (open plan) unit: no garden view, living, separate bedroom. There was no broom or mob (we had to make use of towels to dry the floor). We also read on the website and app that there was free parking onsite, however when we contacted the property, we were informed we needed to pay a refundable fee to get the remote keys, and we ended up having to park our car outside.

I’m afraid to say the shower floor is slippery with no rubber met. It just little bit of straggle with the remote control, it’s probably the flat battery is cause. Another issue we had to make use of 1 cup the other one is broken.
