We enjoyed our stay. Beaches, shops, restaurants all within reasonable distance. Excellent location.

Not applicable. We did our own breakfast. We had access to all appliances. There was a cute little house dog. The host, Candice, was helpful and friendly.

The lounge area was a bit untidy. Dirty mat and spider webs were visible. But toilet, kitchen, rooms, yard area was neat and tidy.

Lovely stay

Lovely host! The house is very nice and it’s near Imhoffs Farm which we really enjoyed visiting. It’s in a very nice neighbourhood and a short drive to the beach

There was some food leftover in the fridge (shrimp heads) and when we opened it it left a very strong seafood smell in the room. Not sure if it was left behind by the previous guests

I know it’s unavoidable but I was woken early to move my car and then have to wait for the other guest to move their car

We enjoyed our stay and hosts went out of their way to make our stay special, but wish the place had newer & less us

Great views, well equipped with bath and shower, the hosts were friendly and handled our special request at an extra cost. The breakfast was also great and all round decent value for money. Candice was super tentative and helpful during our stay and afterwards as well.

The surrounding area outside of the estate did not feel safe to walk in the streets or go to shops so we just stayed in doors till the next day. Was a bit further from the area we were looking to visit than anticipated, probably worsened by midweek traffic, Fishhoek and Kalk bay. A pillow cover was stained and drinking glasses were a bit dirty as well. Had to provide personal information to the host which made us a bit uncomfortable as we have never had to do this with a booking on booking.com

Did not enjoy having to share a bathroom with 4 other people... I seriously think the Magnolia room needs an on suite... The tv was a major problem getting it onto NETFLIX. No electrical point at the bed... Had to use an extension all the time! 🫣

Do not stay here. Very disappointing

The host - Candice - was very friendly.

The place was horribly dirty. The coffee maker had old coffee in the filter which already started to mould. The shared bathroom was also shared with other people staying in the house on a permanent basis. The bedding and curtains smelled of cigarette smoke. We intended to stay for five nights, and could only make it through one. I also could not get any refund after approaching the company. Really disappointing.

Our two night getaway

The view from our room was fantastic and beautiful. Bathroom was great.. bed were comfortable and extra bedding was appreciated. Quiet, spacious and comfortable.

Would've been nice to have own kitchen on top section to do cooking ..found hair in our room, just looked like they did a rush cleaning...

Magical weekend away

Everything about the place is so underrated, location is exactly as dicsribed, staff was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Besides the weather being a bit on the downside everything of Happy Homes was cosy and upmarket, definitely looking forward to staying there again, roomsize was awesome very comfortable bed and bedding, wifi during loadshedding and was even given a light for the times of loadshedding, you cant ask for more, however instructions needs to be followed strictly for your safety as there is baboons in the area.
