expensive
very expensive for what you get, you can get an entire apartment for R800 so was very disappointing

Better than nothing.
Location was near the main road. The chairs were more comfortable than the bed. Tea coffee avail. A fan was a great relief in the heart of summer especially when we caught 3 or more mosquitos in the tiny room.
Steep staircase leading to the room. The one bed was soft and the other felt like there was a piece of wood in the matress which creaked each time I moved. If you showered, the other person could not use the toilet as the floor remained wet with puddles.

Could not wait to get out of the room.
The location.
Cosy Room should be called Mouse Room Before I got there I phoned the owner as I has a question about access – she never replied to my message. When we arrived there was no parking. We had to park up the road and carry our bags down the road. The lock box-code that the owner supplied that came to me through the Booking.com did not work. It took time to finally locate the owner. The reason the code did not work was that the code given was different to the required code. The room is a kind of loft, with a steep, almost ladder like stairs. So see me, 71 years old, 58kg’s, trying to hoist my partner’s 25kg bag up this ladder (not easy). But what a dump. There are cracks in the corners (see images) that are so big I could insert my car key in. The shower is in the same area as the toilet (without a shower curtain), so after a shower there were puddles on the floor. Therefore, each time we went to the toilet we had to splash through the puddles. (see image) There are two windows in the bedroom. One had a thin see through curtain. The other had no curtain, so it was hard to sleep at night because the town lights illuminated the room. And yes, there are nice mountain views. But no mentioned was the sea of rusted corrugated iron that the windows over looked. There was no soap supplied, nor tea or coffee. But worse – ten minutes after we turned off the light to sleep, there was the rustling of mice (or rats) consuming our biscuits. I had to hang our food bag on a door hook. This building is not fit for overnight accommodation for humans. And clearly the owner is out for the bucks, whilst being indifferent to the squalor. I am disappointed that Booking.com allows for such poor accommodation.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable.. I put my head down and I was gone. The price was very reasonable.A nice getaway place from everything. It really lives up to its name,Cozy corner.Restaurants nearby.. Like 2 minutes walk away..
If you don't have a car like myself it's difficult to get to other places..Unless you Bolt or Uber.I would say not so nicely located for transport.

At the price it did the job.
It was across the road from the Yacht club which is what we needed for the regatta. Accommodation is basic but clean. Frans restaurant across the road (recommended by Michelle) was a winner for all our meals. Good food at reasonable prices.
Keys were not in lockbox as arranged. I had to call Michelle on the number provided and fortunately she was available to bring the keys to us. The staircase to the room is awkward. More of a ladder than a staircase and I could not find a two-way light switch for the landing.
