The area was fine and lulu was great. Thats a out all I can say. Sorry.

Lulu was very friendly and helpful. It was also great that we had a large fir our car.

The TV wasn't working and looks like its seen better days. The two big beds were squashed into the room and therefore we couldn't open a cupboard to hang anything. The kitchen had no tea or coffee and there were cockroaches on the walls and in the cupboard and one in our bedroom.

Potential to improve

The view from the balcony is awesome 👌 Lulu was helpful. She even offered to iron Mt clothes Economical for families for sure! It was peaceful, and the beds were super comfy.

I wired ahead for an iron and ironing board on the room.They don't have an ironing board at all.. No soap or towels Room wasn't cleaned once for my entire stay. i mentioned that the shower is blocked l - nothing was done to fix it. Communal fridge was iced packed, and the freezer was bloody from the chicken that seeped blood . Overflowing bin in the kitchen. It appears as though the local taxi service doesn't come to the area due to the steep streets. I waited for an hour for a ride to the CTICC

I am concerned at how it even got to booking.com and would gladly appreciate how the guest house are approved! Are they being viewed? Or not, starting from the cleanliness, to the point where the geyser is being switched off!! What kind of a place where it has no proper crockery and cutlery???showers have basin like you was your hands only, I have not arrived of the quality of the beds and linen 😭😭😭😭 the towels I mean everything is not work the price!!! There is not even a reception, 2 plate of gas stove on top of the 4 plate, pots are dirty not cleaned properly!! I will never ever! The owner has a extremely poor service with arrogance! I will never recommend that place to anyone they rather go and sleep at the homeless shelter as I am sure they are hygiene and clean. The smell of the place , there is a lot and I hope Booking.com sends health inspectors to all of their guests house!! There is no OHS principle in place! I distorted with that place it’s not at all to be in the market!!

The stay was good

We paid for two room and yet the facility had one room. In less than an hour of booking we wanted to cancel one room, you forfeited our payment because it was done on the same day. We felt this was unfair

People were meant to sleep in different rooms but because there was only one room they did not have a choice to share. this however was not part of the original plan

I booked the Bo Kaap Guest House however a few hours later I received a message saying the place is fully booked and I can go to the Brooklyn house, I was not happy with this because if I wanted to book in that area I would have done so on the App when I spoke to the manager he shouted at me telling me I didnt make the check in time and then hung up, ho2 could I have checked in when they advised me the place was fully booked after I already paid. After i had to make my point that this was not my fault he then proceeded to look for other areas and eventually arranged for us to stay at the west beach house, I was not happy because these areas were all further and further away from where I was located however I had no choice but to go because the manager had bo interest in helping to get my money refunded, I could not wait 24 hours to find out if I would be getting my money refunded or not, overall the service received was very bad amd I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent value for money

Eddie and Cindy were extremely efficient and highly professional while also being courteous and very accommodating. I highly recommend this establishment due to their excellent customer service . Will definitely be booking in at Queens Kings View Guest House for my next vacation. Thanks to their brilliantly trained staff.

I would suggest that the room receive a remote for the garage door with their key as access would be easier this way.

Bad place stay awa

Nothing It is not what they advertised. You can not come in and out. Door bell don't work. Place is dirty and wet.Rooms are not clean during stay. Not even a trash can in room. Nothing work in that place. No towels.Basin so small you cannot even wash hands or face. Then you make a mess.Kitchen dirty I had to take on care taker to clean. No kettle no glasses in room Shower is dirty Must ask for toilet paper. Everytime you want to go out you must look or phone someone to come open doors for you same if you come back you must phone. They do not answer as they listen to music on wifi. Must stand in rain and cold weather till you get someone. It is like the have someone to rate that place good. But there is not even geust in place. It was so bad I call booking.com but no answer. Just as bad as place. I recommend this place for nobody.

To start with you to not have entrance or exit to premises. No keys no remotes and door bell not working. They expect you to call them and look for them evert tin you leave or come back. Place was dirty kitchen basin stands for two days with dirty discusses till I complain. Rooms are not what they advertised. Rooms are wet and they do not clean it. No towels. No toilet paper.must always ask.Bed in front of cubort. Shower dirty and only short plastic curtain. Basin is small ¹0 X 15 CM CANNOT use for anything. No hangers in room for clothing No .ketel òr any mugs ot tumblers in room u cannot use what is u jigs n

Not for tourists!

The staff were very friendly and hospitable catering to all our needs. But it is clear that the owners of this establishment are scrooges, and possibly mistreat the staff here. A lot of things are broken and are out of order, but it is overall clean and comfortable. Off-street parking available.

This property has strange rules. Room keys are to be left with the reception if you leave the property, and no valuables are to be stored in the rooms while you are out… Passports and laptops should be carried with you at all times, not a great option for tourists who want to lock up their belongings and go explore the city. There are also no keys given to guests for entering and exiting the property. I guess the suburb must not be that safe. The receptionists are forced to work 24shifts to let guests in and out of the property at whatever hours. The street doorbell is also out of order, so guests are forced to make a phone call every time you need to enter the property. Not all kitchen spaces are fully-functioning, there is a make shift stove as the original ones installed (shown on the photos) are also out of order. - Bedrooms are very poorly ventilated and not well protected from sounds in the common area or outside. - No spaces for working and the WiFi is terrible!!!! - Very kitch outdated decor style and harsh lighting. I felt like I was visiting my grandma, stale smells of cheap polyester included. For this price point, I’ve stayed in more modern places in CT.

Lovely for short-term stays, great way to feel included in history of Bo-Kaap

The location was good, short walk to historical monuments and is in the historically neighbourhood of Bo-Kaap. Building was access controlled and provided an additional feeling of safety, Bonus is locked off-street parking but this is limited

The general area is not the best, did not always seem the safest but multiple patrolling units and building itself seemed relatively safe and secure. Would have enjoyed the kitchen to myself but it is shared per floor.

Cindy was very hospitable and kind , she made us to feel at home for the duration of our stay.

Its a very safe and clean environment. the staff was very friendly and the hospitality was awesome.

Breakfast was amazing and the location is perfect, nearby lots of facilities. Tourist attracted area.

Microwave and fridage should be in all rooms for quests to use when needed. Other than that its a very comfortable setting.
