It was a lovely house with garden and facilities. It was central enough for us to get about and not in a terrible area where we would be kept up at night by people. It seemed a safe enough area

The washing machine seemed to have dog or cat hair in it, which wasn’t great but we dealt with it. The stairs are also very very steep (not something that is able to be changed as it is the type of house) but they were just very steep and narrow. Gave me anxiety when my nieces stayed the night. That they’d fall down them or myself and partner would fall too.

The facilities were good in that there was most things you might need.

It was very dirty. Everything needed a deep clean as there are stains everywhere, dust everywhere, deeply-grained black dirt on the bathroom. The shower curtain was very unpleasant. All of this made me feel very unclean. The bed linen was clean however the mattress was very uncomfortable - soft and we could feel the springs in the mattresses in both rooms. There were only two mugs in the cupboard so we had to take it in turns in having hot drinks. The carpets contained a lot of hair and seemed not to have been vacuumed. I do exercises on the floor and when I stood up I had lots of “bits” stuck to my legs. The area is very deprived and the streets smell of rubbish. Walking around at night could feel intimidating for some people. The wi-fi was poor. Intermittent to say the least. I had to use mobile data instead.
