Extra fees for early arrival room was very small for the price and fire alarm went off

Cheap, convenient, bed was awfully small but would stay again.

It was clean and tidy, there was a well stocked shop next door and a nice kebab & pizza place too

It's ok if you're a drunk or not interested in own noise polution.

Location was easy to get to with on street parking in housing estate, ease of booking, hot shower, clean linen.

Poor noise insulation between rooms, noisey guests, shower had 4 water leaks and grime/mould in corners, carpet covered in stains, sticky tv remote, all the comments suggest cleanliness is particulary done proprly. Police came to move guests at 4am, prices are not that much different from far better hotels in area. So difficult to get a good nights sleep when work next day.

Good location.

The Stanley knife blade on the bedroom floor, the smell of smoke on the bedding. The excessive BLACK mould everywhere in the shower (a health hazard), broken sink tap, bathroom door that’s been punched in, bedroom light that doesn’t ever turn off, disgusting and smelly carpets.

The room and facilities were better than what I'd expected and fully met my needs.

The room was clean, cosy and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and even microwaved some food that I'd bought for me.

The smoke alarm in my room had detached from the ceiling and was hanging from a wire, this banged against the bathroom door every time i opened or closed it. The restaurant was being renovated so it was closed.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Reception space was nicely appointed.

Externally, the building is quite off putting. Feels like there is some renovation going on. I think this hotel is just under new ownership. Previous reviews gave cause for concern. That said, although the rooms could do with a deep clean of carpets and a lick of paint and the bathrooms are tired, the linen was fresh and the rooms smelt clean.

It was ok for what I needed it for.

It wasn’t worth £116 for a box room. Staff not Very nice and charged me extra £25 as I did not get there till 11.30 after my conference. No policies or anything explaining extra charge. Hotel 24/7 naaaa

Not fit for purpose. Staff need training to recognise that customers need value for money. Shocked that booking.com is m

Bedding not changed when allocated room. Had to be moved to another room with clean sheets. Hotel Fire safety panel showed faults throughout stay. Many smoke alarms hanging off ceiling. Staff rude showed no regard to customers or requests. My room never cleaned 3 nights despite requesting. Towels or soap not replaced.

Impressed that a clean and tidy room didn’t break the bank

Convenient, the room was surprisingly clean and bright. I was quite impressed considering the price. This goes to show that a decent room shouldn’t cost the earth.

The communal areas are very narrow and dark. There are loads of stairs and no lift.

O único bo foi a amabilidade do persoal. As dúas mulleres de recepción foron moi amables.

A habitación apestaba a tabaco e suciedade... Non é que a limpadora non fixera a limpeza, simplemente a moqueta é vella e está sucia, as paredes teñen manchas e hai tapizados por todas partes (unha parede tapizada, sillón, cama) e iso garda todos os olores. A habitación estaba ó carón da escaleira e cada vez que subía alguén tremía toda a cama. Pasaba o mesmo cada vez que abrían a porta da habitación do lado. Cero insonorización vaia. A auga da ducha ou sae fría ou ardendo. Un sitio para non voltar, e menos soa, xa que non me deu sensación de limpeza nin seguridade.

La ubicación era ideal!

Cuando llegamos hubo un corte de luz y en recepción no había nadie para hacer el checkin, era un self check in, pero era bastante poco intuitivo, especialmente porque era de noche y no había luz. En condiciones normales probablemente habría sido mejor.
