Lovely place to stay
Room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot. Owner was brilliant nothing was a problem. Would definitely stay again if back in Newport

I met my hotel Waterloo. Avoid at all costs!
Not much! The staff were polite.
The room was dirty. The bed looked like somebody was sleeping in it! One heater and the heated towel rail did not work. Despite being advertised as a bistro, no food was available except for breakfast. We were frightened to eat breakfast, so I cannot rate this. Switches were dirty and did not work. The elevator appeared to have not worked for years! The toilet would not flush. The bar was headache inducing loud. There was a DJ type of set-up and the music was so loud as to be uncomfortable. Plus, the TVs in the bar were bellowing over that! In the guest only section the staff/relatives were using the facilities.

Lovely staff, spacious room, pity I didn’t get breakfast.
Unfortunately the kitchen was out of order so we didn’t get breakfast.
We were high up & it was January so it was a little cold (windows were draughty).

Had a great night
Great staff and great place! Spent the evening in the bar area and was shocked how cheap the drinks were. Beds comfy and room was spotless! Will be returning! Thank you!
