5 star stay at Ty Newport

Thomas the breakfast waiternwas exceptionally kind and helped me a great deal. Brenda the reception was very kind and helpful, all.the staff including the manager were very helpful

Well rested, clean friendly environment thankyou.

The facilities in the room were great....from the tv to the kettle and espresso machine...shower was lovely and roomy, the room was clean and tidy. We booked the supreme room and had access to the lounge where we had free tea and coffee and we could have 1 free drink each from the fridge.

The ONLY gripe and its something I personally would have liked...no fridge in yhe room to keep your drinks cold...thats it....

Lovely, smart hotel with a great restaurant

It was as clean and tidy

I had two rooms booked with one with early check in for graduation prep. A little more awareness of staff around what guests are being expected. Checking in for the second room was harder than it needed to be.

The menu in the restaurant is very pretentious, needs to be redone to appeal to more people al a cart is a acquired taste and doesn’t suit everyone we would like to have eaten there but there wasn’t anything on the menu that we would want

Clean & comfortable stay near M4

Stopped for one night while driving, and the location by the M4 was perfect for this. The building was very new and the room extremely clean (which I'm picky about). Bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet - but this was probably because there were almost no other customers on a Monday to Sunday night.

Understandably, the restaurant wasn't open, just the bar, which was fine; what I didn't like was that the bar's halloumi burger was super salty. (I admit I could've complained about this but didn't, because eating in the completely quiet lobby with zero other customers around was already awkward enough.) Parking was pretty expensive (but I knew to expect that from other reviews).

OK hotel that does what it says on the box.

Staff were friendly. Hotel was pretty standard similar to typical Accord properties.

Costs for extras (specifically car parking) seemed silly (and excessive). Breakfast was ok (again standard) but nothing special (and expensive for what it was). Location was noisy due to the M4. Detail design of room was not as good a the competition.

Disabled adapted bathroom functional but the chair & rails etc detract from luxury feel. View of main road & pylon but didn't expect rolling hills etc because of location

The breakfast was very nice. All the cooked food was very fresh.

The only thing that could have been better were the beds for the children as our kids aren't little. They are tall and one of them didn't get much sleep.

Went for a family event weekend, hotel stay added to overall enjoyment.

Staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful, maitre de in restaurant couldn't do enough. Cleaners/room staff exemplary, room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Food was plentiful and tasty. A wonderful weekend, would happily stay here again.

Room was very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable.

Parking charges, basically you have to use their car park due to the location, so factor an extra £12 a night on top of the room rate
