Very good breakfast. The dinner menu in the bar is very carb heavy maybe a bit more choice for healthier options.

The lobby was lovely and beautifully decorated. The room was clean. The bed was clean. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast: The continental part of the breakfast was lovely and had a wide variety of fresh fruit. The activities at the Celtic Manor are brilliant, and the staff at both the activities site and Celtic Manor are very helpful.

We stayed at Coldra Court Hotel for two nights as a family of three. The lobby was lovely and beautifully decorated, and our room was clean However, our room was not refreshed on the second night only the bed was made with the same bedding. There was no designated place to put our bags, so we had to use a chair to unpack, and the closet is located in the bathroom. On the first night, we struggled to sleep as the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. We slept better on the second night, though by that point we were quite tired from a full day of activities. Spa: Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was closed during our stay. We were not provided with robes or slippers, though some guests did receive them. The pool was okay, but we did not use the showers at the spa as they were not clean. Fortunately, our room was nearby, so it was easy to return and get ready. Breakfast: The continental breakfast was enjoyable, with a good selection of fresh fruit. However, the cooked breakfast was cold and there was limited choice. The activities at Celric Manor are brilliant, and the staff at both the activities site and the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

Not very clean. Hot tub was cold. M4 outside noisy in the room. Bar stopped serving certain drinks 30 minutes before closed. Like coffee and cocktails.

Location to the M4, due to the Xmas season it was beautifully decorated creating a lovely atmosphere

Nice looking reception and general seating areas. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff very pleasant.

Paying for parking - I’ve stayed in many lovely hotels in the UK and have never been charged before. Bathroom shabby. Shower impossible to get suitable temperature. Tap in sink set for water-saving but so gentle that it was too inefficient.

A very spacious and quiet room. Very clean and tidy hotel. The leisure facilities were very good, especially the pool. The reception staff were very polite and helpful.

Breakfast was nice but would have liked the option of cooked tomatoes. The sink not being inside the toilet. Bedroom a little warm with no air conditioning. The lobby area was a little cold. The steam room was not working properly (warm but lack of steam).

Very nice hotel interior was beautiful and the live piano was exceptional

Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs were delicious but found sausages were a bit over cooked and diced fried potatoes were a tat too oily.

Found surface of shower cubicle very slippery and complementary bathrobes and slippers would have been a lovely additional touch.

The restaurant and staff were good, respectful and attenuative. A little overpriced for what we had, but enjoyable all the same. the staff were pleasant in the restaurant.

The reception check in took over 20 minutes the staff extremely rude. Kids running around smashing a glass which smashed but sharded it didn't shatter completely, this is deemed as very dangerous - dangerous as the kids were still running around and another glass was then hit off the table. The staff at no pint addressed the parents, but called a member of staff to pick the glass up, i moved the sharded glass from the area as this was very dangerous due to the kids still running around this area and no receptionist acknowledged this, only called a member of staff to pick the glass up off the floor. The member of staff that checked us in then proceeded to ignore me and served the kids with sweets, i asked to be checked in and she was making me feel uncomfortable due to me moving the glass to a safe area. at one point she sauid you don't have to stay here, this attitude was despicable, no apology for waiting to check in at 4.30pm which is very late in the day, we checked in around 5pm as it was taking so long to check the two other couple before us. Her English was very poor and attitude towards me was disgusting, we weren't told where the spa was or what time breakfast was or where the room was, i nearly cancelled my stay, if it wasn't for my friend who needed the break i would have. They take £50 off you card immediately precautionary she said in case of damage in the room? we are both 50 odd year old mature women.

Room was clean and exquisite. The breakfast was decent. I did not have dinner.

The staff at the swimming/gym were great and staff on reception were helpful.

The restaurant was very overpriced for poor quality food. The restaurant seemed understaffed, I asked for desert menu and was handed the bill instead. We were forgotten about and a long wait for our plates to be taken away. The cheesecake had split and was over baked. Cocktails were very pricey too

Rooms dated, no sockets at bedsides, no usb ports for charging. Restaurant lacks vegetable options. They refused to substitute chips for healthier options

Lovely rooms : well appointed : Queen size bed and settee in my room and all newly decorated . Restaurant also very good and good breakfast . Really helpful reception staff and staff at the restaurant booking desk.

Leisure club not managed by hotel and one member of staff there unhelpful and unfriendly . Traffic noisy as I had a room backing on to the A449
