Comfortable room. Good shower. Taxis to the centre were good

It feels quite dated. Not the usual pool and sauna you’d expect from Holiday Inn. Pool is tiny and is booked up most of the time with regular private bookings. The reservations were messed up twice so ended up with the wrong configuration of rooms but the staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be

Very friendly staff, lovely as newly refurbished room with a better WiFi this time.
The WiFi is still up and down. I am aware this is temporary but when attending training a good WiFi is a must. However, being accommodated loses to the reception has helped.

Justifiable value for the money
The room was clean and very cosy and comfortable. The location is also close to ICC Wales where we attended an event which is really helpful for us.
Only thing is when we booked the room it says has a soundproof feature but we can hear guests or staff coming in and out of other room and or banging the door or people talking next door. Otherwise the stay is very pleasant and the hotel itself is so clean.
