The location was excellent. I didn't have breakfast at the Hotel. The room was very good, a nice size, friendly staff.
The wardrobe was the only thing I didn't like. It had open sides which was a bit awkward.

Very clean room. good+ value for money. free tea and coffee in the room.
had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to reception. tried several ways to contact them, buy no-one came. corridors and lifts are dirty and run down. rubbish and food waste in lift. tomato sauce in corridor walls. filthy carpets. very run down area outside the hotel, with rubbish bags left in the street. down+outs drinking cans of lager 2 metres from the hotel door

The location was near Train station. However, the International Convention Centre is other site of city. Public transport is not established in Newport. One bus per hour and only few per day. Awful

Awful The hotel changes the name and it is quite difficult to find, especially in the evening, when it is dark! No one on reception 24/7
