Nice shower, comfy mattress, nice mirrors and lighting, TV had plenty of channels. Free WiFi and hairdryer and iron supplied.
Would prefer a spoon for the tea and coffee rather than wooden stirrers. Didn't supply a spare duvet, only spare pillows. Could do with new carpet, fix the creaky floorboards, better paint and sealing work in the bathroom. Better bed frame/base

Very good location, a short walk from the railway station.
The hotel is situated above weekend night clubs and while the rooms are quiet, we had a continuous background bass noise into the early hours. Our room would have benefited from a couple of chairs.

Clearly a Premier inn in the past, it was not too expensive, and the room was clean.
I received an email saying it was dual branded, “The 'Belvilla Newport City Center.” However something seems off, nowhere did I see the word Palette, and Google maps had it several doors away. Chatting to a fellow resident I discovered he was homeless and had been living there for 12 months. There was a closed bar area, and police attendance as I booked in. I tried to save money booking here and wish I hadn’t.
